sena pov
"what's your plans after sch-" "YAA DON'T KISS INFRONT OF US!!" i shrieked as i saw minho and jisung kissing in front of me and taehyun right outside our lockers. taehyun, who was beside me, rolled his eyes and pushed them away so that we could access our books. "go find yourselves a boyfriend or a girlfriend, you wouldnt be jealous of us then" minho smirked as he looked us up and down while jisung hid his blushed face in his palms.
"ugh... as much as i hate them kissing in the hallway, im so happy that they’re a couple" i said as i longingly looked at them walking away from me. beside me, taehyun hummed as he collected his textbooks and extra clothes before closing his locker. "ready to go?" he asked. i quickly grabbed my geography textbook and some of my notes, before following taehyun to our first class.

"yo, you're finally here." my tablemate, scoups, said as i sat down at my seat next to him. i nodded while opening my bag and took out his favourite candy before passing it to him. he took the candy and ate it immediately, ruffling my hair right after. i glared at him in hopes that he would stop immediately but to no avail. "god are they a thing yet...? they're always flirting..." i could hear whispers from a group of girls sitting behind us. although we’ve told them countless of times that we aren't together, they still enjoying fantasising about us being in a relationship. since there isn’t much we can do about it, we ignore the gossip as much as we can. i’m pretty sure that the whole class (possibly with the exception of those girls) already know that i have a crush on hongjoong.
i unconsciously looked towards his direction which was at the front towards the left side of the classroom. hongjoong is known as the nerd of our class due to his studious appearance and he often spends his free time reading alone. however, at parties, he has a completely different personality and style. unlike his usual outlook and his typical dressing of oversized shirts paired with shorts, he wore a tight black shirt that showed his built body as well as a pair of blue jeans. not only that, he even a wore chained choker around his neck. his duality was a reason that made me fall harder for him.
"hey, hey sena, are you even listening to me? sena?" scoups tapped my shoulder, bringing me back to reality. "huh... what were you saying?" scoups looked towards the direction i was looking at. upon realisation, he rolled his eyes and gave me a death stare. "were you daydreaming about him again? oh i forgot you're a one hell of a simp for him. ill stop talking then. continue admiring him." he scoffed as he laid his head on the table.
not again... i thought. i shifted to the side he was facing and pouted cutely, "im sorry coups-ah, don't be angry" "fine. just this once. if this happens again watch me ignore you for the whole day." i smiled and ruffled his hair while walking back to my place. "so as i was saying, tae-" scoups was about spill some tea when our teacher suddenly stepped foot into the class. we both faced the front instantly and listened attentively to our teacher.
---time skip---
"class dismissed." many students started leaving the class while scoups and i were still in our seats. we only had lessons an hour later anyway, so we decided to avoid the crowded hallways. i scanned the classroom and saw that taehyun and hongjoong were also still seated in class. "so as i was saying, my instincts tell me that taehyun has a crush on miyu. i cant stand seeing him blush everytime he talks to her, its so weird to see that side of him..." my eyes widened upon hearing this news from scoups. i was happy that taehyun finally found someone he likes. miyu is really nice and friendly to everyone. scoups and i started talking and laughing about random topics before taehyun decided to join us. i suddenly felt someone's eyes on me, so i looked around and saw hongjoong facing my direction. i immediately looked away, blushing in embarrassment.
"why's your face so red?" "i bet 10 dollars that its because of your crush" i was about to whack scoups but he ran away before i could throw a light punch at him. i began chasing him around while taehyun laughed at our childish act. none of us noticed the sad gaze from hongjoong watching us.

"are yall coming for the party tonight? hongjoong's coming!" miyu winked at me, knowing that i’d jump at the opportunity since he was going. i playfully rolled my eyes at her, nodding my head. "ill drive sena and taehyun there. miyu, wanna join us?" scoups said. i turned towards taehyun and saw his ears turning red. there was no doubt he was blushing since he could be in the same car as her. “don’t worry about us! hoshi’s driving her there together with seungkwan and me." seongmin replied in a cheerful manner. "well, i guess see you guys later!" miyu gave us an awkward smile before leaving with her friends.
"ugh seongmin has been kinda sus lately don’t you think? he’s been extra close to her these past few days. I CAN’T STAND IT!" taehyun grumbled. "aigoo you’re overthinking it, at least you'll still see her during the party. why don’t you wear that fit you wore last weekend, im sure she won’t be able to take her eyes off you." taehyun thanked me and smiled. "alright guys lets go to the cafe first, my jisungie is thirsty" minho said. the rest of us sighed before making our way towards the cafe with minho and jisung taking the lead.
