Chapter Text
The smell of coffee, maple syrup and cinnamon filled the air as Sasha opened her eyes, she smiled against the pillow and stretched out her legs and arms, letting out a giant yawn, letting sleep roll off her.
Looking around the bed she could see that both her partners had woken up before her. She furrowed her eyes and reached over to where she had left her phone, only to find it missing.
She shook her head and moved some of the sheets to look for the missing device before letting out a groan and leaving the warm bed.
The sweet smell surrounded Sasha again and she decided food outweighed finding her phone and figuring out why her alarm didn’t go off for her morning run.
She grabbed one of Anne’s old jumpers and put it on over her thin shirt and underwear. It was way too big a jumper for any of the girls but it was comfy as hell.
Letting out another yawn, the blonde headed to the kitchen and was greeted by the site of Marcy and Anne dancing softly around the kitchen. Three cups of coffee still hot sat on the bench. Soft music played between the pair, Anne’s hands on Marcy’s hips and Marcy’s hands around Anne’s neck. Delicates clinging to each other as they twirled around the space, both completely unaware of the eyes watching them.
Softly swaying as they held on to each other, if Sasha knew where her phone was she would have filmed this.
Instead she leant against the doorway and watched as her partners danced softly in the morning, light pouring around them, sweet smells circling the pair.
Marcy eventually opened her eyes and looked over at the blonde.
“Sash! Good morning” she let out as she detached herself from Anne and moved to her other girlfriend, giving her a good morning peck.
Sasha smiled in to the kissed and gave the smallest woman a little hug before moving to Anne, giving a chaste kiss on the cheek and a longer hug and looking at the stack of pancakes and coffee waiting on the bench.
“Morning girls. This is special”
Even on weekends, the trio was a busy group and didn’t usually have time to see each other in the mornings. Afternoons and evenings were their time together.
A look of panic quickly spread across the blondes face “it’s not an anniversary or birthday is it?” She asked seeing that everything was a little too nice for a random Saturday.
Anne and Marcy giggled before nodding “yes Sasha, how could you forget? We’ve been planning it ALL week” Marcy said - little giggles leaving her mouth as she shared the lie.
Sasha smiled seeing straight through her partner “you’re so mean to me. But seriously what’s up with the spread? Also have you guys seen my phone?”
Anne gave a guilty look and pulled Sasha’s phone out of her pocket and gave it back. She looked away “you deserved a sleep in. You’re not gonna lose your muscles from not running for one morning”
Sasha shook her head and smiled as she put the phone down.
“That’s kinda gay Boonchuy” she looked over and grabbed Marcy by the waist “you too Wu”
She gave each a peck on the cheek before grabbing a cup of coffee and the stack of pancakes.
“Let’s go cuddle in bed while we eat”
Both girls nodded, not caring about the crumbs that would gather and would need cleaning up later.
Maple syrup, cinnamon and coffee filling the air with sticky sweet goodness as the three climbed back in to their bed, legs tangling together as they ate, drank and kissed the morning away.
