Biology. The one thing Doppo hated more than anything else in the world. Although more than he hated it was the feeling of disgust, it was a subject that he couldn't understand very well and that frustrated him in a certain way, that's why he disgusted that subject in the first place. He hated everything he couldn't understand. He leaned gently over his textbook with a pen in hand. Doppo carefully studied the questions that had stopped making sense a while ago. Doppo sight while rubbing the pain in his neck to ease the discomfort of sitting at the cafeteria table for what seemed like forever. At this rate he wanted to give up, he had been like this for a while and even so he couldn't understand, never had a subject been this difficult for him as much as this one.
"Doppo?" a voice took him out of his small misery for a few seconds, it was Jakurai, who apparently had just left his class. "You look...bad, is something wrong?"
He took a chair that was near the table and sat next to Doppo.
"Oh, nothing, just, Biology homework that I can't understand... I don't understand this subject" he sighed "And Hifumi went to his club without having time to help me".
Jakurai looked at Doppo in silence for a few seconds before taking the redhead's book, analyzing his questions. Oh, it was about a subject he mastered.
"Don't worry I'll help you" he gave a warm smile making Doppo feel relieved, at last he would receive some help, he could have had it before but in a way he was afraid to ask someone for help, so he felt even more relieved because Jakurai had offered himself without being asked, although at the same time for a moment he thought he was using him.
"Look, let's start with this problem" Jakurai was a genius when it came to biology and everything related to medicine and natural subjects, it was his favorite thing, specifically the subject of Molecular Genetics. Which was the subject that Doppo had the most difficulty in biology, so it could be said that Jakurai explained with a certain emotion in his eyes, an emotion that was not very noticeable.
"Look, An important area within molecular genetics is the use of molecular information to determine patterns of descent and therefore the correctness of organisms, which is called-" as Jakurai spoke and explained the subject, Doppo stared at him, every feature of Jakurai was delicate, and his thick and calm voice and his way of speaking made it easy for him to understand the subject, according to Doppo himself, it was as if he was receiving divine help from the angel himself who is God's secretary ... or he's just exaggerating because of the little crush he has on him. Who knows, the essential thing was that Doppo understood perfectly.
A few hours passed and Doppo was finishing his work, he really appreciated Jakurai's help, without him, he possibly would have finished even later, or worse, never. That made Doppo form a smile on his face that he didn't notice, but Jakurai did.
"I see that the help makes you happy" Jakurai spoke, making Doppo look up in confusion, only to notice that he was smiling
"Sorry, Sorry!" Oh, and there came back the Doppo who apologized for everything, thinking about it why he even apologized? He did nothing wrong, "really thanks for this help, I'll return the favor with anything".
"Uh, you don't need to return the favor, I was the one who offered to help you, so don't apologize or thank me" he smiled
"But it took away time which you could have wasted on important council work!"
And it was true, Jakurai did have pending work from the student council, he didn't even remember it, but he preferred to postpone them to be able to help Doppo with his little homework, how distracted, but he wasn't going to tell Doppo that, it would make the boy apologize more
"Don't worry, I didn't have any job" he lied "Besides...helping you wasn't a setback" he spoke stroking the opponent's red hair
There was a silence between them by a few minutes, then Doppo didn't realize when his lips was touching Jakurai's lips, that surely was unexpected, for Doppo at least, now that he realized, this was his first kiss, so he was a little clumsy when Jakurai kissed him for a few moments.
After a little second they separated from the kiss, Doppo on one side was red from embarrassment while Jakurai cleared his throat
"I- I'm- I'm sorry" now he was the one apologizing
"No, I should be the one who should be apologizing, I don't know how to kiss and..." He gathered his things quickly to walk quickly to who knows where.
Jakurai just sighed
"Oh well... at least Ramuda's advice worked" he said, walking away from that place.
At least of all of this, Doppo has something Juicy to tell Hifumi.
