Change of Fate - A Walking Dead Story

Summary:

"With the world falling around him, 17 year old Ben Paul's only goal is to find his family. The only thing getting in his way is getting back to West Virginia. And dead people coming back to life."

Change of Fate, is a fanfiction based on The Walking Dead franchise. This entire story is dedicated to changing the fate of every single character that has died within said franchise. This doesn't necessarily mean that a character that died will remain alive throughout this story, it could just mean that characters will have a different cause of death. This story doesn't follow what is considered canon and contains crossovers between Telltale Games' (R.I.P) The Walking Dead and AMC's The Walking Dead Show.

SPOILER WARNING FOR TWDG (The Walking Dead Game) and TWD (TV Show)

This story follows a main character that features in TellTale Games' The Walking Dead, Ben Paul. Canonically Ben is in his late teens, has a (unnamed) sister, is from Stone Mountain, Georgia and has two current canon deaths; being dropped from a bell tower and devoured by walkers or impaled through the abdomen by a metal bar after falling from a balcony and shot by Kenny out of mercy.

Change of Fate will not always follow canon, this includes family and relationships. Benjamin Paul in Change of Fate (COF) is 17 years old, has two sisters and is originally from Tennessee for plot reasons.

At the beginning of each chapter, there will sometimes be a warning about mature content within said chapter if necessary. Everything is written in third-person and thoughts will be written in Italics:
