Why? Because in the Ghost Bride event Crowley has stated that the bride has spent 500 years searching for her perfect husband.
And Sam seems to know the ghost bride, because his grandfather whom Lilia knew was acquainted with ghosts. Now look at the timeline of every Disney movie... that movie (Princess and the Frog) takes place in the 1950’s and Snow White, Disney's first movie had taken place 521 years ago. Maleficent or Sleeping Beauty takes place around 600+ years ago. And that is my reason for Lilia’s age.
And according Disney says that their Fairies live for about 600 hundred years, and what has Lilia and the game been hinting at?

Lilia has stated that he watched Malleus hatch. Malleus is Very immature he hides his emotions behind thinly vailed insults. He understands that humans are afraid of him because of his face, and aura.

And don’t judge me but a quick google search has told me that young dragons are around 100 or so years in age. Still seeing them in the light of a child.
also I think it's HEAVLY hinted at that Malleus's Grandmother my be our girl Maleficent <3. who is a very old and very powerful Fae.
Grandmother who is about the same age as Lilia or maybe older has known the dragon for his entire life, which is 100+ years.
