Unflinching,
she never pauses to think.
As the world
falls away.
An undoing
of her own fault.
She paces
between the gravestones,
wishing
that she could join them.
A love forgotten
friends abandoned.
Floating,
in the vast immense
emptiness
of non-existence.
She ponders.
She regrets.
But that
which she had run from
her whole existence
grants her another try.
She does not take it,
for the guilt it all she knows.
