Rekindled

Summary:

So basically, I started writing (both fanfic and original work) when I was a kid, but stopped because I had no motivation and didn't know what to write. So basically, I had writers block for 2-3 years without any real effort to get back into the hobby.

This is basically me practicing and trying to regain that skill. These are mostly short narratives of some sort. If you see something new (like a poem or a short story) then like, it's probably because I've tried it for the first time ever/in a while. I'll gladly take criticism but please be respectful asgwjhw.

I'll be uploading whenever I end up write.

Chapter 1: Life With Just Nature

Summary:

This one was when I was still trying to get back into descriptive writing. I had gotten used to writing academic essays so the sudden shift was still quite jarring.

Prompt: something about nature

Chapter Text

I was born in the early 2000s, and my most memorable memories are from past the 2010s. Technology has always been a part of my life. Going on youtube, chatting with friends through a video call or instant messages, a life without these little privileges are unknown to me. It's efficient, to be able to easily connect like this. But sometimes, with the chaotic world of opinions and cancel culture, it's easy to seek for a simpler life.

Like a life on the field, running through sunflower patches and wheat fields. Waking up to the first rays of the sun coloring your room in a warm, morning glow. Or taking hikes in a quiet forest, surrounded by the pitter-patter of an animal's feet and the flutter of a bird's wings as you pick a variant of berries and fruits. Or sunsets by the ocean, the soft sand imprinting your footprint as the waves gently wash your feet.

It may be true that man can do incredible things, make life-changing inventions and groundbreaking research, but only nature can offer a unique experience. Only nature could give you the most fulfilling sensation of being connected with something far bigger than just the little bubble of space we live in.
