"The world may end in a few years" Daigo pointed, to wich Alan simply stared at him " and I will regret not making the most of those few years" " i guess" Was alan's reply.
The past few days were filled with emotional turmoil but even if they have the complete opposite mindsets, something Daigo is certain of is Alan's importance and how much he's grown to care for the hot headed trainer next to him, yes he would definitely regret not asking.
" Alan, we may only have a few years left to live, don't get me wrong I will figure something out but regardless of whether the world ends or not would you like to spend the rest of your life with me? "
" Wait do you mean..." Alan's voice did not hide the disbelief
" I mean marriage yes" Daigo confirmed " are you sure you won't regret it?" Alan couldn't imagine what's going on in the older trainers head.
"Yes" it was a stong and sincere, Alan thought about it for a moment nobody has ever had the impact that Daigo had on him, they may be completely different but he cannot deny the comfort he feels around the other, what's the worst that could happen?
" That was the least romantic proposal i have ever heard" " well i was planning on formally proposing once we get back home" Daigo defended " then I'll give my answer then" a tiny smirk formed on Alan's lips " no fair!" Daigo made an exaggerated gesture of shock after all it wasn't very hard to guess the answer and he agrees the backdrop of a burning hotel in this crammed city is no place for a proposal Alan deserved better
