Turning the Bodyguard

Summary:

Yeosang, main bodyguard of the major family, is sent into the minor family’s compound in disguise, and tasked to retrieve information regarding a traitor in the family.

What happens when he’s captured by the supposed traitor.

Why is the traitor being nice, and why does he keep coming back with a bruised face?

Or my take on the VegasPete romance if it were ateez.

Notes:

This work was inspired by the Thai drama Kinnporsche the series. If you haven't watched it you should, it's insanely good.

If you have watched it SanSang will loosely follow VegasPete's story, but I'm changing it as we go to what I wish would've happened. There won't be a lot of violence or detailed injury in this and San won't seriously hurt Yeosang.

This story will be updated whenever I get a chance as I am a college student and don't have an abundance of free time.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Yeosang’s steps were confident as he stepped into the minor family’s compound, the mail courier uniform fitting him perfectly. He was momentarily stopped by a low ranking bodyguard to check the box he was wheeling in. Inside was an expensive white china vase, sourced from one of the major family’s warehouses, where they apparently have an abundance of fine china laying around. After the bodyguard decided nothing was out of the ordinary, he allowed Yeosang to step past him deeper into the minor family’s compound. He made sure to keep his head low. While none of the body guards around should recognize him he couldn’t risk running into San or Jongho, both of which would recognize him in the blink of an eye, at the very least he knew their father was out on ‘business’ so he wasn't a worry about running into him.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Yeosang approached the guard he was supposed to give the vase to, helping him unload it from the trolley before standing and facing the guard again. Now, he's supposed to find a way to get deeper into the compound, without supervision. Quickly, he arranges his face into a grimace drawing his eyebrows tightly together, “um, sir, could I please use the restroom before I leave, I couldn’t go before and I need to go badly.” He pitches his voice up slightly, trying to convey his urgency. The guard sighs looking up at the ceiling, “fine, but hurry, it’s just down that corridor.” He nods in the opposite direction than Yeosang came from, then fully turns his back to him to deal with the vase. “Thank you.”

Yeosang scurried off down the hall hearing the guard behind him mumbling something about needing to change courier services, he giggled to himself as he turned the corner and continued on past the bathroom entering San’s private wing. If luck is on his side San would still be out doing whatever it is he's doing to piss Hongjoong off today. He quietly steps past San’s bedroom to his office, next door, and silently slips inside, shutting and locking the door behind himself.

The room is empty of any other presence and he lets out a sigh of relief, San is still out, or at least not in this part of the house. As Yeosang approaches the desk at the far side of the room he surveys the area, there are hand cuffs hanging from the wall, an assortment of whips and other torture devices laying about, and to top it all of there was a ball gag sitting at the table at the entrance of the room, hopefully not recently used. Yeosang decides to ignore the instruments in the room and head straight to the desk, slipping into the chair in front of the computer.

After sitting down Yeosang pulls a flash drive from a hidden pouch in his courier uniform and plugs it into the back of the computer. He mentally thanked Seungmin, the head of the main family’s cyber force, for the program on it, as it immediately pulled up all the relevant files. All Yeosang needs to do is send the files to Hongjoong and he could slip out before anyone even notices him. He started selecting all the files that prove San is working behind the Major family’s back with their rival mafia, the Italians. Yeosang believed that San’s father was orchestrating this whole thing, but Hongjoong was sure that San was the one behind it, and therefore the only traitor in the family. Yeosang pauses his actions momentarily to wonder what screwed up their relationship so badly that Hongjoong was so sure that San would betray the family.

Shrugging the thought off Yeosang resumes gathering the files.

After roughly twenty minutes he sends them all to Hongjoong, before sighing in relief. Now all he has to do is get ou-

His train of thought is abruptly cut off as he feels the muzzle of a gun press into the back of his skull. He freezes on instinct before slowly raising his hands off the keyboard. A cold, familiar voice cuts through the silence, “stand and turn around Yeosang, don’t do anything stupid.” Yeosang follows the instructions, turning to face the man pointing a gun at him, realizing why his voice is so familiar, “Jay.” He felt like his breath had been punched out of him, Jay, one of the bodyguards who works under him back at the major family’s compound. He was there when Jay first showed up, learned how to shoot a gun, and how to defend himself. Now that same underling is point a gun right between Yeosang’s eyes. “What the fuck are you doing? Working with the minor family? This is going to get you killed!”

Jay chuckles, glancing away for a moment before looking at Yeosang humorlessly, “You’re not one to talk sunbae, considering you have a gun pointed at your head. I’m not the one who’s gonna die, just wait till San gets back and hears who was snooping around his office.” Jay smirks at him before hitting Yeosang across the face with the butt of the gun, knocking him to the ground. “Now be a good boy and don’t fight me,” as Yeosang lays there with his consciousness waning Jay leans over him and ties his hands together before hauling him up and out of the room. The last thing Yeosang remembers before darkness took over was the feeling of his head limply hitting Jay’s back as he was carried out.

When Yeosang regained consciousness it was to a bucket of freezing cold water being thrown on his now naked torso. He aggressively shakes the water off of his face before glaring up at the bodyguard who was now holding an empty bucket. He is rewarded for his look when the guard uses the same bucket to hit the side of his head. “Little bastard you’re lucky the young master told us we couldn’t rough you up too bad before he gets home.” The guard sneers at him, Yeosang spits at the his feet in retaliation.

Before the guard could smack him again, footsteps were heard in the hall outside the room. Moments later the door opened revealing San, smirking devilishly when he saw Yeosang tied up in the middle of a cell in the minor family’s dungeon. He takes a pair of gloves from the body guard who followed him in before looking at a table of torture instuments. “You know, because of you my plans were ruined. You sent Hongjoong everything, it’s a shame you couldn’t get out before my mole caught you.” San pauses picking up an ax, “I wonder, how should I punish a guy like you?”

Yeosang can’t help himself but to start laughing, maybe from the insanity of the situation, or maybe he himself is going insane. San glances over at him, putting the ax down, and turning to the generator and jumper cables, “You’re laughing?” He picked the jumper cables up and glanced at the body guards in the room, nodding his head, before turning to make eye contact with Yeosang. In the blink of an eye there were two guards on either side of him pulling the rest of his clothes off, leaving him completely bare in front of San. San then stepped closer, invading Yeosang’s personal space, putting his lips against the shell of his ear, “just scream.”

Then San pressed the jumper cables against skin just above Yeosang’s member. Yeosang grit his teeth as he felt the volts run through him, fuck it hurt, but he refused to give into san. San pulled the cables away from his body, “not gonna scream?” San steps away from him back over to the generator as yeosang stares at him silently through his lashes.

San clicks the generator up a level, “that’s fine, we’ll get there.” The jumper cables were back on him seconds later, this time, Yeosang’s vision blacked out as he screamed at the feeling of electricity pulsing through him.

“Good boy, just like that, keep screaming.”
