Chapter Text
It was another day for Zelda, sitting in class and paying attention to her Teacher.
But not everyone is perfect, and her mind starts to wander.
Her eyes landed on a boy, maybe two desks to the right of her; His head was practically on the desk. Was he asleep?
“Zelda?” The Teacher called.
“Yes?”
“Can you please wake up Link, the boy next to you?”
“Yes, Ma’am.”
Zelda nudged the boy, Link. It didn’t take long for him to come to. He looked up at her with a drowsy expression.
She nudged her shoulder in the direction of the teacher, and he looked forward.
“Please try to stop sleeping in my class.”
Link nodded, and that was the end of that.
The bell rang soon after, and as students were leaving for their next classes, Their Teacher called over Link and Zelda.
“You two aren’t in trouble for anything if that’s what you’re thinking. I just wanted to ask about something.”
The Teacher turned to her computer, and then to Link.
“Link, do you feel as if you’re doing your best in my class right now?”
Link’s head drooped a little as he shook his head.
"And Zelda, would you say you understand what we're doing pretty well?"
Zelda nods her head.
"Well, if it's not too much trouble; I would like for you, Zelda, to tutor Link.”
Huh? Tutor? She had never tutored anyone before; the most she's done would've been helping out her friends with their math homework when they needed help.
"There is a test coming up a week from now about what we have been learning these past weeks, Hylian Writing from the Sky & Twilight Era. I'm worried that Link will fail, and his grades could dwindle."
Link's eyes fell to the ground.
The teacher continued; “So that is why I’m asking you to tutor him. You may do this whenever you have time, this is not a forced thing.”
Zelda looked at Link, and he looked back at her, then they both nodded.
“You can go, just give me a second to write you up passes.”
