Chapter Text
Spies are just like normal regular people, just having a lot other things going on in their life that no one knows about, Anne boonchuy, a high school teenager was one of them, despite being tired from all the school work she still manages to keep up with her secret life, it's a miracle that her parents still aren't aware of her little secret.
Spies can be of many types, the one's who are undercover, the one's who actually do the work like missions and stuff, and the other one's who are good at hacking and stuff. Anne was an undercover spy, which technically might be the reason her secret is so easy to keep, she doesn't have much fieldwork to do and she also can keep an eye on her targets while she's at school. Her parents don't know about this and she can't be more grateful about it.
She usually does not get assigned to missions but only spying on someone or getting information on a particular person, which is much safer to do probably. She is not the only youngest agents in the organisation but is one of them, so all the agents always try to keep her out of danger most of the time, and some may even try to help her with high school, she felt like home at the organisation. She wouldn't be lying if she said that she never met other agents of her age, she always wondered what would they be like if she got the chance, maybe that chance would be sometime soon.
One day as she was walking home from school, she recieved the call. Believing that it could be her mom she pulls out the phone and sees the number that she recognises quickly, the one she hasn't saved so her mom would acknowledge it as a random unknown number. She picks up the call and she hears one of the agents on the line, they tell her to be at the secret base, she shrugs and tries to call her mom to inform her that she'd be late by giving the excuse 'study meet-up with friends' when her mom does not pick up, she assumes she might be busy at the restaurant, so she decides to just send a text message and left.
After sometime of walking she reached her destination, she always thought a small section of the local library being the secret way to the base was kind of cliche but she couldn't care less.
She enters the doorway and greets all the agents known to her, after five months of working in the organisation she was able to make few friends with the help of her socializing skills, which she is grateful of.
She walks in the the meeting room and sees two people already waiting there in the chairs around the round table, they weren't talking to each other and sitting in a distance, seeing them she assumes that they are as nervous as her and it might be their first time in the meeting room as her's.
She sits down and starts a conversation
"Hello! I am anne, what's your name?"
The two girls glance at her then at eachother, the raven-haired girl decides to speak first, "The name's Marcy, nice to meet you" she smiles, Anne can't help it but smiles. From the corner of her eye she sees sasha gently smiling at marcy and was a bit surprised. Soon later sasha spoke too "I am sasha." That was a bit cold for anne and she tried to smile but ended up with forceful smile on her face, sasha smirks and looked away but anne didn't notice. They didn't talk for the next few minutes and the so called 'general' came to the meeting room, they heard about him about him a lot but never actually saw him so they were surprised a little bit.
"My name is Andrias Leviathan" he spoke "I will assign you all to a mission, and as it's you're first time on a mission it will be a easy one, your performance on this mission will help us decide if you capable enough for a much bigger mission, Olivia and Yunnan will be incharge of keeping an eye on you all, olivia will provide you all the papers related to the case and yunan will help you out with the case whenever you need help. Any questions?
That's when sasha raised her hand. "Yes?"
"What's the case about and why does this 'yunan' have to be around us while we are the ones assigned?"
Andrias raised an eyebrow at that "Because this "'yunan' will make sure y'all are safe during the mission since it's your first time."
"Maybe it's a good thing that we have an experienced person to guide us, it can make our mission go smoothly, right sash?" Marcy pointed out, sasha just scoffs and feels a bit unusual of the nickname but can't complaint about it. Andrias glances at marcy and seems impressed, anne is observing all of this but decides not to say anything. "And about the case, our agents suspected that there's a smuggling going on in the nearby hospital a few weeks ago, after searching for more information they figured out that they were right, we want you three to find out more about the case and try to catch the culprit behind this. Be careful on your mission and we hope you succeed." He walks out and the girls look at eachother, "Huh that sounds a lot" marcy says. "Yeah but don't worry, we can do this, that's what we were trained for right?" "Yeah sure even though I was never able to pass my physical training like ever." They both laugh and sasha can't help but smile at them. "Wait so how did you make it this far?" "Well let's just say they were impressed by my hacking skills a lot, that's why I am in the computer field I guess." "oh that's great." Sasha replied
"I have zero computer skills that's why I am in the undercover field" anne said. "I am in the fighting field, I am good with computers but not that much." sasha also shared. "I guess that's why we were teamed up I guess we make a really good team, though I think they were really impressed with my stalking skills, they told me that I am really good at hiding, I guess they aren't wrong." anne said and they all laugh then sasha stands up, "So I am taking my day off from here, you guys free so we can pay olivia and yunan a visit and get the documents we need for the case while on our way to café?" Marcy nodded while anne said "yeah sure." They all head out and anne spoke "Hey sasha, maybe you should add miss before olivia and yunan's name while you talk to them-" "No."
Even though this was the first time they were meeting but still it felt like there was a familiarity when they were beside each other.
