Work Text:

The raindrops slowly ran down the windows, and the sound made by them could be listened to as a sweet melody if Natsuki wasn't worried about throwing down her cupcakes due to the thunder outside.

Even though that day wasn't one of the best, the pink-haired girl was looking for some motivation for her poems, and what could be more inspiring than kitten-shaped cupcakes and your favorite mangas?

She sat at the couch, and on the center table, she put a tray with five or six cupcakes in it, along with a cup of chamomile tea. Her thought was to re-read Parfait Girl, but she remembered that Yuri asked her to glance through a horror novel for once, and she ended up accepting it— yet the book would be given back to its owner if Natsuki got scared.

She bit a piece of the little cake, having a sweet combo of cinnamon and vanilla on her mouth. This would make way more sense in summer, but having it on a rainy day wasn't that bad.

It was a fact that Natsuki would always feel better as long as the sun was shining, which were the days where she normally would go to a cafe to write her poems while talking to Sayori, that was always there. But being in her home that day was better than doing her routine with an umbrella, knowing her foot would probably be soaked.

When the sun showed up, she would leave to see the rainbow that would take form. Now, she would stay on the couch with her pajamas, her cupcakes and her mangas.
