Morgan (or Chad, Diego, Ohio, Barnaby, Dave. Honestly, any of the characters We've been introduced to so far could play a role in this prompt it doesn't have to just be between Morgan and Alex) are a test subject for the first-time machine, and to play it safe are sent just 12 hours forward into the future.
The machine whirrs noisily, the door opens, and (whoever you chose for this possible fic) find themselves in the testing room where they'd been just moments before.
(Again, whoever you chose)'s amazement turns into horror when they see the bodies of the technicians on the floor brutally tortured, killed, and lying in a pool of their own blood.
There are words scrawled in blood over and over the place. 'SORRY'
What happened?
If it's on the heroes' side of things. What the heck did Alex do?
If it's on the villain's side, what happened?
If it's Ducky, I have more questions cause Ducky is a young kid.
