A ball of blankets unravel to reveal Izuku Midoriya, a freshman in the most prestigious high school in all of Japan, UA High. They managed to pass the base exam and got accepted into UA with a scholarship. However, with all good things comes the bad. Their highschool bully, Bakugou Katsuki, also got accepted into UA, but has not bothered Izuku since then. Since the day that the two got accepted, half a year has passed.
“IZUKUUUUUU, WAKE UPPPP,” yelled Hisashi Midoriya as he enters from the door. “You’re gonna be late at this point. Didn’t you say that you wanted to be early for once?”
“ Yawns . Is it time already,” groans Izuku as they rub their eyes.
“Yes, and you better hurry”
Izuku nods and climbs out of bed. They washes themself up and puts on their uniform before eating a breakfast burrito their dad made. “Izuku, remember your hairband.” Izuku put on her pink hairband before wearing her shoes and backpack. She also grabs and wears her gray hoodie that forces her hair to cover her eyes.
“Ok dad! I’m off.”
“Stay safe ok!”
“Of course!”
As Izuku walks out the door, her dad mumbles to herself. “She’s so cute, why does she wear that gray hoodie anyways? Eh.”
As she walks down the road, she sees a nearby villain fight and marvels at it a little before continuing to walk to the train station. Sitting down and seeing the blurry landscape as the train runs down the track, she remembers that she needs to check on her friends.

Izuku walks out of the train and arrives at the gates of UA. She jogs in and goes to her homeroom class. Walking in, she drapes her backpack over her desk and sits in her desk.
“Greeny!”
She looks up and sees Jiro, Tokoyami, Tsu, Sero, Ayoama, Shoji, and Hitoshi in front of her desk.
“Hey everyone!” She gets up and hugs everyone even the reluctant ones, Hitoshi and Tokoyami. As the reincarnation of sunshine she is, Izuku beams at them. “Let’s hurry up and get to our seats, Aizawa should almost be here,” she states.
The group goes back to their respective seats and as soon as all of them sit down, Aizawa comes in with his usual look of distaste and overly caffeinated coffee. “ Groans. Alright, role call”
(Time Skip to Lunch and POV change)
“Bakugou, over here!!” Kirishima waves to Bakugou as he gets closer.
“Shitty hair, I can see you from anywhere, you don’t need to call me everytime.”
Bakugou sets down his tray of food between Kirishima and Yaomomo. Despite having a personality of a turd seeped in sewage, Bakugou was one of the popular kids along with Kirishima, Mina, Iida, Kaminari, Uraraka, Hagakure, Ojiro, and Sato. He was the de facto leader of this group, but he doesn’t really do much to try to contain the chaos when topics emerge.
“How about we do a bet? Like one of us dates a random person for the rest of this school year? It’s only 5 months away,” Kaminari suggests.
“That’s so unmanly though! It would suck to be in a fake relationship!!”
“I’ll do it!”
The group looks at who said that they would do it. Unsurprisingly, Mina was bouncing up and down from their seat and raising her hand. While she doesn’t like to break people’s hearts, she enjoys challenges and bets. The extra pocket change doesn’t feel bad either.
“Ok, since Mina is doing it, who should we pick?” asked Kaminari.
“How about the other group in our homeroom class?”
“The weirdos? Who would even want to date them? Wouldn’t they know that it was a prank?” Kaminari replies indiginantly.
Bakugou thinks for a bit before speaking,“Deku would fall for it.”
“Deku, whose that?”
“Raccon Eyes, Deku is that one.” Bakugou points at a short person with long, green hair, a pink hair tie, and a gray sweatshirt. “Deku is the most naive person in the world, so he would fall for it. His locker number is ####”
“Ok then! But I’m getting compensated for this!!” Mina exclaims.
“ Tcch . I give you 2000 yen.”
“I’ll give you 10000 yen” Todoroki calmly states.
“... I’m definitely doing this then,” replies Mina as she starts walking back to class, grinning along the way.
“Greeny, remember to text us when you get home,” hollered Shinsou.
“You’re not my dad!”
“No, I’m your cat that hollers at you at 3 p.m.”
Izuku laughs before waving good bye to Shinsou. As she starts to leave, she notices that a pink letter was slipped into his locker.
“Hmm? What is this?”
Dear Izuku,
I’ve always admired you from afar you whenever you appear. My eyes are drawn to your magnetic presence. My heart flutters when I see you laugh and smile. You always make me feel like I’m the best person in the world. I want to say that I like you to your face. Would you grace me with your presence at the roof top?

Izuku blushed after reading the love-filled letter and decided that it wouldn’t hurt to just see this person. She walks up the steps to the roof until she got to the door. Hesitantly looking through the door window, she sees only a person with pink horns and fluffy hair. She sighs in relief as it wasn’t a prank. Bracing herself, she opens the door.
“Um, hi? Are you my secret admirer?”
The person turns around and smiles. “Yes, you look so much cuter up close!”
Instantly, Izuku turns red in the face.
“So, yo- you lik-like me?”
“Mhm! Mhm!”
“I-I-I I ACCEPT!! I would love to try this with you!!”
“That’s great! My name is Mina Ashido, but you can call me tonight.”
If it was possible, Izuku turned even redder.
“I-I-I’m Izuku Midori-Midoriya. I’m genderfluid, so I try to show my gender with my hairbands.”
Looking at the hairband, Mina replies,“So, you’re a girl right now? That’s cool!”
“You’re okay with it?”
“Of course! It doesn’t shange who you are inside.”
Before Izuku could respond, Mina got close to her and kisses her cheek. “I’m glad to know more about you, but I have to go. Text me?”
Izuku just looks dumbfounded and nods.
“Okay! Bye cutie!!”
Izuku waves watching as her energetic girlfriend rushes down the stairs.
“I just got kissed!?! AHHHHHH- I looked so much like an idiot!!!”
Izuku blushes before texting to the group chat about what happened.

Izuku rushes to get back on the train station to go back home. She puts in her earbuds and listens to music as she thinks about today.
As the train comes to a halt, Izuku walks back home while humming. Getting inside her house, she notices that her dad is not home yet, so she puts down her stuff and starts dinner.

A few hours later, Izuku’s dad comes back home from working and eats with Izuku. She regales her story about how she got confessed and was embarrassed about how she couldn’t say anything. Her dad laughs with her and soon it becomes night. Going to her room, she puts her hair band on a hook. They turn off the lights after they finish their school work As night falls, they climb into bed hopeful for the next day.
