“name?”
“Uhhh let's go with…. John…….smith?” Izuku offered with a smile, Naomasa leveling him with an unimpressed look.
“An American name? Really?” Izuku smiled brightly back at him “the lawyer you called, when will they get here?”
“Lawyer? Why would I need one of those?” his cuffs rattled as he leaned back into his metal chair, cuffed hands chained to the table keeping him sitting in a relatively normal posture.
“you’re facing many charges, including murder and vigilantism. You used a quirk to kill a villain in a crisis. You had to of known what you were doing was illegal.” he set a file down on the table as he sat across from him, opening it up, his eyes scanning over the papers as Izuku peered down at the first page.
“You have solid proof I used my quirk?” he asked, tilting his head slightly as Naomasa furrowed his brows.
“You first attacked the head of the group who had a reflex quirk, after that the consecutive kills are completely unexplainable without the use of one. Otherwise, you would have been soundly beaten with the quirks they had.” he reasoned. The movements were quick but not explained by a quirk, what wasn’t explainable was how quickly he combated each villain’s quirk. It had to be part of his quirk. Maybe an analysis quirk that allowed him to predict their movements?
“Maybe they were just stupid and I was smart. You’ve got no basis to charge me for Vigilantism.” Naomasa shrugged
“The murder charges will still stick. You did it all in broad daylight. A kid like you will likely garner some pity and sympathy but they won’t be very lenient considering your crimes.” Izuku rolled his eyes.
“Yeah yeah. Or, hypothetically, I just escape like the five other times you’ve caught me.” Naomasa’s brow twitched violently, looking away to calm his clear frustration as he took a soft breath.
“Will you admit to the charges?”
“I’m utterly innocent.” Izuku stared up at him with the most innocent expression he could muster. Naomasa’s expression twisted into one of heavy annoyance and distrust.
“23 documented cases of murder-”
“That you know of.” Naomasa glared sharply at him as he interrupted. Izuku returned the glare with a happy smile.
“-35 charges of breaking and entering- for fucks sake!” he cursed as a knock sounded on the door. He threw the file down on the table in frustration, moving to the door. It opened revealing an exasperated-looking Aizawa.
“Aizawa! Fancy seeing you here can you tell detective Naoska- Naomasta? Whatever his name is to let me go?” Aizawa gave him a dead look.
“Naomasa.” Aizawa corrected.
“Do you two know each other?” Naomasa glanced between the two of them as Aizawa approached the interrogation table.
“not really-”
“He’s my dad.” Izuku grinned widely. Aizawa glared at him heatedly as Naomasa froze.
“I am not his dad.” he denied quickly, his glare practically burning holes through Izuku’s skull. Izuku ignored him, looking at Naomasa with a bright smile.
“But you said so yesterday.” he reminded.
“That was before this is now- I do not know this child.” Izuku let out a huff as he pulled at his cuffed hands.
“You have a son?” Naomasa blanched, his gaze now fully locked onto Izuku.
“Abso-”
“He’s adopted.” Aizawa defended
“You still raised me so I’d say you’re pretty responsible for the current me.” Izuku stuck his tongue out. Aizawa's brow twitched, dragging a hand down his face.
“Don’t worry we’re sending him back.” Izuku gasped, staring at him incredulously as he smirked.
“ you dick.”
“Wait- hold on.” Naomasa pinched the bridge of his nose “he’s your son, and you’re letting him run around killing people.” Aizawa stilled, closing his eyes to avoid glaring murderously at Izuku.
“In his defense, he does tell me not to. Then again he doesn’t really stop me when I do go out.” Izuku shrugged a little as Aizawa opened his eyes, covering his face with both hands.
“Kid shut up.” Izuku raised his hands in surrender. The chains not letting him raise them very far but Aizawa still turned his glare away from him.
“ He is my ward” he sent a glare his way, ensuring Izuku didn’t have anything to add. “He’s also quirkless so it’s likely none of the charges will stick.” Naomasa glanced back at Izuku.
“There’s too much evidence to name him innocent.”
“How many?” Izuku shrunk back. He’d gotten away cleanly every time he’d been previously caught so Aizawa didn’t know the numbers of what they had on him.
“Fifty-two felonies and a sea of other lower crimes.” Aizawa stilled as he looked at him.
“Fifty-two?” Naomasa nodded in confirmation. Izuku shied away a bit as Aizawa turned his gaze to him.
“You’re dead.” he took that moment to unlock his cuffs and dive under the table as Aizawa approached him, ducking under Naomasa and slamming the door to the interrogation room shut, locking it quickly as something banged against it, almost opening it part way before he secured it
“Deku. unlock the door now.” he placed at Aizawa’s even tone. His voice was calm and deadly, he was pissed. He laughed nervously, propping a chair against the door as Naomasa cursed.
“I love you dad!”
“You little shit.” Izuku raced down the halls with a nervous air about him. He was absolutely dead when he got home tonight. Yamada especially would ground him for at least a couple of months with that many charges.
Of course, Aizawa had to catch him first. A loud crash sounded as he turned a corner, picking up the pace with a wide mischievous grin.
