People who had a positive impact on your life, even if it wasn’t always at the best times, they made you happy! they made you love being you. but that same feeling will come and strike
A small child holding their mother's hand tightly walking down a hall passing by other children they looked tired, sad, or angry i never understood why all of these children were in my mothers care why so gloomy..? "Its time now child" Keir looked down at her small child reaching a door that had metal bars
"is this where I'm going to stay?" they asked a bit nervously they didn't like this door it looked scary "Yes..I will come check up on you when I can" Keir opened the door pushing the small child inside "Mother!! no you can't leave me" the tiny child quickly panicked realizing their mother wasn't in the room
she's leaving me!
she can't go ill be alone!
"Mother..?" the child pulled on the door trying to open it the door didn't budge at all slowly Pansy stopped and started to cry for their mother but was ignored "Mother I'm scared" The child started crying harder trying everything to get her attention "mom please please mother please im sorry! i don't want to be here alone" the child cried harder and more desperate the door didnt move "Pansy stop it's okay I'll be back soon" the child felt their face heat up "she will be back for me!" Pansy whispered excitedly flapping their hands
"Please dont leave me I want to be with you forever" the child whispered as they began to fall asleep finally calming down after crying for so long. the last thing they saw before they fell asleep was the door opening and their mother looking down at them her expression was..blank but tender.
The next morning Pansy noticed was soft white sheets covering their body and they was being held close someone had been holding them while they slept...a lab person? the child shifted in the hold quietly
"Child..its time to wake up" a gentle voice said to Pansy. they slowly blinked their eyes open their vision blurry as tears threatened to spill down but Keir wiped them away quickly "today you're going to be with me all morning" She placed the child's arm's over her shoulders helping them sit up. Pansy looked around the room noticing it was a lab it strangly had a large bed that was covered with white fluffy pillows, There was also a nightstand next to the bed, the room itself was pretty green and there was a huge tank it glowed green
"This is your lab mother? is this where you live?" the child asked playing with their mother's lab coat. Keir raised an eyebrow "no I don't live here..I had someone bring in this bed just for the night then we're moving it to your..little area" Keir quickly said picking up Pansy and walking out of the lab "where are we going?" but they never got answer
Keir put the child down opening the door where a whole bunch of kids wearing the same white long shirts sitting down eating..something the child couldn't exactly see. Their mother walked in making them follow behind her which made Pansy frown they wanted to be picked up again
"who is that?" one voice rang
"why are they so close to the Doctor?" another asked
"they have cracks all around their face, they must be sick" one chimed in
Pansy stared at them not noticing their mother kept walking "..." the child wanted to say something but nothing came out they gave up giving them all a quick glare running after their mother that was holding a tray walking back out of the cafe. the small child following behind "Mother are we going back to the lab?" they asked looking up "I am you are not" Keir sighed and stopped walking they were at that same door "Child this is your punishment, I won't come check on you anymore. someone else will"
Keir opened the door waiting for Pansy to go in but the child stood still frozen in place "punishment..?" they whispered "but what did I do?" Keir glared down at them making Pansy flinch.
"you destroyed a village, slaughtering every single person there all for what Pansy?" Keir snapped coldly at them "what you've done is unforgettable everyone will recognize you and want your head on a stick to burn. you need to learn that what you did was unacceptable, im very disappointed with you now go in" Keir grabbed Pansy's shoulder forcefully pushing them in
"Wait Mother im sorry it'll never happen again I promise! mother wait" Pansy reached out toward their Mother who'd continued to glare down at them she looked angry and stressed "I will let you out when I think you've learned your lesson" Keir slammed the door shut locking it.
Days turned into weeks weeks turned into months and months turned into years Pansy stayed in that room alone mostly the one thing they feared the most being alone.
they only interacted with the other doctor that would give them their meals and a cat that was given to them called Mr. Meow he was sassy cat that could talk and he made Pansy feel less lonely but they never saw their mother but tried to ask when will they be released they'd never gotten an answer. the doctor that gave them their meals was nice she'd always smile at them and recommend books they could read.
Pansy had grown up a bit they weren't a small child anymore they had longer arms and their hair grew right down to the tip of their shoulders
the teenager yearned for their mother's embrace but they were also angry, they wanted to get out, they weren't aware of what was going on in the world anymore all they did was read books and play around with Mr. Meow.
Although one day the door opened suspiciously slow and quietly Keir watched in the shadows as Pansy dashed out the room immediately holding their cat in their arms tightly as they floating down the halls calling out to their mother dashing down each hall slamming straight to a wall alerting the rest of the children "help us please help us!" a child screamed banging on a door
"help help we've been stuck here please!" another child's voice chimed in banging on another door
more and more children and teenagers banged on their doors begging to be let out, Pansy hesitated before opening all of the doors the kids ran out screaming and crying tears of joy "We're free!" a child jumped around before running off elsewhere. But a girl ran out of her door looking at Pansy quietly
Pansy couldn't help but stare back tilting their head in confusion "you're free get out here" the girl looked away for a moment trying to think of what to say back opening her mouth slightly but nothing came out so she just shook her head. Pansy noticed the stitches around her arms and neck 'what happened to her?' they thought watching the girl run off as well waving goodbye
Pansy waved back. they floated to their mother's lab seeing nobody inside '"what do I do? what should I do?" they questioned looking around completely lost "get out." a low voice responded the teen looked down at the cat in their arms "but I don't know where to go I've never been outside since..I dunno" they tried to argue "not safe here get out" the cat repeated himself making them sigh "fine.." Pansy walked toward the wall they slammed into it was open an exit for all the other people here. they quietly floated out the facility looking back for a moment before floating down towards a village.
Keir followed closely behind her child letting everyone escape "tch.." she bit her lip as her hands wrapped around her gun in her pocket letting her child escape it was too dangerous for Keir to be involved in Pansy's freedom, So she left going back to her lab Leaving behind her child and all the other children she abandoned this is the freedom they wanted and they all could have it for now
Keir went back her lab furious slamming the door open "Where the hell we're you two?" she asked the two ladies that looked nervously at the ground "Keir listen i was on break i had no idea any of this was going to happen!" one of them spoke up she had long braids that shifted around as she talked. Keir raised an eyebrow "If you're lying Cleo I'll boil you alive in my tank" Cleo frowned at this "Keir you don't believe me I'd never lie!" she whined opening her arms to hug Keie but she lightly but her arms back down "Ruby what were you doing?" Ruby looked up at her friend "Painting like I always am I was really focused y'know I can't hear anything when I'm really into my painting Keir" Ruby put her hands on her hips fidgeting with one of her belts. "Fine its fine whatever we'll just have to make sure to take our these kids i will be counting on you two thats all..now get out" Keir smiled at her two friends pushing them out her lab.
It had been two months since the incident and the children of the facility most likely had died from starvation, many had hidden themselves from the public becoming homeless and some but Keir found them shooting them all down getting rid all of the evidence nobody cared for those children anyway. Pansy joined a village sad and alone Mr. Meow had run away from them after an attack. The teen walked around trying to capture everything in sight it'd been so long seeing people sell fruits, clothes and shoes, and various of other things "wow.." Pansy whispered before bumping into someone "watch it" a cold voice rang out "sorry man" Pansy replied quickly walking away from they felt a tug on their shoulder "you're...the child who took out the old village" the man hardened his grip on Pansy's shoulder "please let go of my arm" they said softly pulling on it trying to make him loosen his grip "you were supposed to die remember?!" he shouted angrily at Pansy making the creature flinch "no I don't get the fuck away from me" Pansy hissed in response glaring daggers at the man "you think this shit is just a joke?!" he raised his hand up balling his fist quickly punching Pansy making them yelp in pain holding onto the side of their jaw in pain
"stop!" a deep feminine voice shouted causing the man to freeze and turn around "who are you?! Who the hell cares about them?" He growled at the fox woman "I do! I care about them because this is not the first time something like this has happened sir" The woman walked closer to Pansy standing between the two "You should know who I am old man smith" The woman said calmly "Irene? Why are you protecting this monster" the man said "it's their fault the village was destroyed all of them dead! my daughter gone" Smith yelled
"they probably had a good reason.." Irene tried to reason
"No, they didn't it was obvious they did it for the hell of it! You should take this murderer out instead of defending this peice of shit!"
"No why would I ev-"
"What if I did do it for fun?"
The man's eyes widened looking terrified of having a sudden question from Pansy "listen here you fucking asshole keep fucking talking I swear to god I will kill you" Pansy's hand clenched into fists pushing the fox lady aside landing a hard hit onto the man "I'll kill every single one of y-" The fox woman quickly brushed her hand against Pansy's mouth quickly walking away with them before they attracted more attention
"goodness child you cannot just threaten everybody i was trying to save you!" she yelled at them making Pansy only yanked her hand away "stop that" they spat stepping away from her "don't fucking call me 'child' you're not my mother" Pansy growled watching as the fox lady froze in place "so mean.." she mumbled under her breath, the teen narrowed their eyes "What did you just say?" They raised their eyebrow staring up at her
"Nothing chi-..Pansy?" she quickly corrected herself "I'm Irene..and you can stay in one of my hotel rooms" Pansy felt their stomach drop "what??" they looked confused "I don't..want your help woman" Irene huffed glaring at them lightly "don't play that with me you've got nowhere to stay, I promise you'll be safe with me" Irene held out her hand to them
Pansy had stayed in the hotel room just like she said Irene gave them food to eat and books to read noticing all the teen would do was read things off of the wall. Irene also noticed as time went by they refused to talk about their family or why they'd ended up at this village
"Pansy come out I've made you breakfast!" Irene yelled waking up Pansy they were now in Irene's room no longer in the hotel it smelled like dirt "coming!" Pansy quickly got out of bed floating to the kitchen "my my look at that hair HAHHA!" Irene pointed at their bed hair it was a mess the teen only rolled their eyes playfully as their world grew dark
Once they opened their eyes again they were laying on something soft the ground? "flowers..woah these are beautiful" they whispered sitting up "I know these are my favorite!" Irene suddenly appeared next to them picking up a certain black flower "they look so beautiful~" she smiled warmly looking at the flower handing it to Pansy "Keep it its my favorite flower" Irene looked at them softly "Really why?" they asked "I can grow that flower from my hand its a little secret trick!" Irene proudly opened her hand a small flower started to sprout out Pansy watched in amazement "Can you teach me?" they asked nervously which made Irene lean her head on Pansy's shoulder gently "Of course just don't forget it i won't show you again.." they smiled closing their eyes softly enjoying the sun and flowers
When they opened their eyes they were back in their hotel room, yawning softly they got out of bed looking down at their hand watching a flower sprout out of their hand. the teen smiled warmly remembering the moment again "so cool" they whispered "Irene..are you in here?" Pansy called out but their was no response "Irene??" they floated to the bathroom opening the door slowly finding nobody inside. Panic slowly crept in the back of their mind
'she left?? where is she?' they thought looking around "Irene..?" they called out again peeking their head out their hotel door looking down the hall nobody was there 'she usually tells me when she's leaving, why didn't she tell me? where is she?' Pansy floated down the hall towards the elevator before stopping 'i don't know what to do..im not allowed to leave its not safe'
the teen stood in the middle of the hallway spacing out completely lost with what to do 'did she abandon me?' a question popped into their mind 'does she regret helping me?' another question raised in their mind 'does she know?..does she know who I really am?' they wrapped their hands around their stomach slowly going back to their room 'it's fine she's just late! I will just wait thats what I'm good at waiting' they reassured themselves waiting in their room
waiting..
waiting for days even weeks. Pansy stayed in the room nobody bothered them everyone was scared of them anyway but her. they got up floating out the hotel room for the first time in weeks slowly floating out the establishment their eyes were closed they just followed the whispers in their head.
Pansy opened their eyes once again. seeing Irene infront of them laying against a wall her eyes were gray she had bruises around her neck and cuts along her face blood washed down her face. Pansy stood frozen staring down at her shaking they tried to speak but nothing came out Pansy wanted to look away but her eyes were captivating drained of life so tired.
Irene held out a flower the same flower as before "I wasn't expecting to be leaving so soon, im sorry Pansy please forgive me" Irene sighed running out of breath "you're going to be okay.." she whispered "nonono stay with me I can't do this without you!" Pansy fell down to their knees hugging Irene her body was cold so cold. warm tears fell onto her cold body "you can do it you've done it before right..?" Irene looked around dazed "no.." they sobbed out "I can't do this I can't do this" Irene sighed again tears flowed down her face lightly "im sorry Pansy..you're going to be fine"
the memories faded away as Pansy opened their eyes for the final time they quickly wiped their eyes noticing they were standing above a woman her nose was busted open, she had a few missing teeth as well "...." they bent down reaching toward her quickly stopping noticing the blood on their hands "oh" they stepped away from her looking ahead seeing a man also beaten and bleeding "..." Pansy quickly dismissed this stepping over their bodies licking their hand remembering why they were here in the vampires castle
"im going to take over this castle" they mumbled as if someone was infront of them "because i need to belong i need somewhere to live if I can't have it ill take it." they looked away "I'm going to be okay i won't remember any of this anyway" they responded to nothing "I'm an adult now nobody remembers what I looked like before" Pansy wrapped their hands around their stomach mumbling to themselves feeling their teeth sharpen poking their gums softly as they mumbled
A child hiding in a corner the king and queens child watched in horror as her parents were killed. Pansy was ruthless only using their hands to stab their hands into her father's eyes and stomped on his chest until he stopped crying. the child couldn't help but vomit at the sight of her father lying on the ground alerting Pansy who'd stopped talking to themselves floating over to the sound. the child didn't notice Pansy coming over so when Pansy tapped them the child screamed
"please don't hurt me I won't tell anyone!" the child quickly scooted away from Pansy "im not going to hurt you, I need you to do me a small favor" Pansy got down on the floor sitting beside them "check my teeth are they sharp like yours?" the child hesitantly leaned close to see Pansy's teeth they were sharp indeed meaning they were now a vampire "yes yes they are!" the child smiled nervously at Pansy making them also smile "great..thank you very much"
"don't be afraid you'll never see me like this again I promise" Pansy said jabbing their hand into their chest making the child's eyes go wide they pulled out a black orb wrapped in flowers "i will lock myself away so I'll keep up with this promise" Pansy smiled widely making the child shiver away from them nodding
Time went by Pansy locked themselves away into the orb inside of their body Pansy was now the ruler of the vampires they didn't feel anything inside they didn't remember anything or anyone but just went with the flow enjoying all the vampires around them the empty shell
