For years, Trish and Jim had worn the same clothes, the same hairstyles, the same… everything. The style was straight outta the 80s, embarrassing to two young adults living in 2022, in a scene set in 2022.
It was extremely exciting for them when they got new clothes and a haircut.
Trish pulled at her new grey Progress Tech school hoodie. Anything was better than that pink sweater she used to wear. She also loved her new stylish haircut that gave her bangs.
Jim, on the other hand, was no longer wearing a striped shirt. He was wearing a grey and blue pullover with a Mineral King Resort logo on it.
And both were wearing cute reindeer slippers.
Trish, especially, was grateful for her new change in style. It was very modern and 2020s.
The next morning, acting through the gasps of the first guests to ride gave Trish a lot of pleasure.
Jim pretended not to notice. His dialogue was the same. The only thing different was that he was no longer wearing thirty year old clothes. And the new clothes were more comfortable, actually.
None of the family members could dispute their costume changes weren’t for the better.
