Hi. I’m Sig. I go to Primp Magic School. I love bugs and flowers. Nice to meet you I guess…
School just ended today so I decided to go bug catching. That’s when I saw Amitie. She always wears a weird hat that can talk to her…allegedly. She was sitting in my favorite flower field. I like Amitie; she makes me feel different…but in a good way.
I decided to go over to her. “Hi.” I said.
“Oh, good morning Sig.” Amitie said, turning away from me to look at some pond. Weird…normally she’d ask me how my day had been. Looking back she didn’t really talk much in class either…
“You ok?” I asked.
“Yeah…I’m fine.” Amitie said. She wasn’t smiling when she said it though…
“...did something happen?” I asked.
“It’s nothing, really.” Amitie said, getting up. “I need to go study. Later.” she walked off. Weird…

Something was up, so I called two of my guy friends for help; Schezo and Maguro. Schezo is a guy with a sword who tried to steal my hand once…I think. Maguro has sharp teeth that people say are his ‘charming point’...whatever that means.
“So, Amitie hasn’t been talking much and seems to be avoiding conversation?” Maguro said.
“Yes,” I said.
“I still don’t know why you summoned us for such a trivial matter though…I could be going down with Arle by now.” Schezo said. Maguro snickered for some reason. “You know what I mean!” Schezo said. I didn’t get it.
Maguro stopped snickering. “Either way, I think Amitie is upset about something…I know that’s how my little sisters get when they’re upset.” he said.
“Ah.” I said. “Now what?”
“Hm…” Maguro was thinking. “Do you have any ideas as to why Amitie is upset?”
“No.” I said. “I know she visited the tetra a week ago but that’s it. I don’t know what could have made her upset though.” I wish I did…
“Maybe we should try asking her later?” Maguro said.
“No.” said Schezo.
“Why not?” asked Maguro
“Well, think about it. If Amitie of all people is avoiding conversation, then whatever has gotten her upset must have been very serious. As such, we should avoid the topic until Amitie sees it fit.” Schezo said.
“Makes sense to me.” I said.
“...okay.” Maguro said. “What should we do then?” oh right, we ran out of plans.
“Well, since Amitie is upset we should set our sights on cheering her up. Sig?” Schezo said.
“Yes?” I said.
“Do you have any ideas for our course of action?”
I thought for a bit…I…couldn’t really think of anything…Amitie…”Um…maybe a bracelet…?” It was the first thing I could think of.
“That sounds good.” Maguro said. “The shopping district in my world has these cute ones for cheap that have these really bold colors; Amitie seems to like those so we can go there.”
“Ok.” I said, walking with him.
…Amitie…
