In the Land of Abyss, there lies a fallen kingdom ruled by abyssal lords and queens. Under them are the dark generals and bloodthirsty soldiers who are always ready to serve when it comes to bringing war to the Land of Dawn.
"Helcurt!" A knock is heard outside the room.
Helcurt is in his room cleaning his bloodstained blades, which he places down on a table. He tries to ignore the corrupted human marksman knocking on his door, as he usually does.
"General Helcurt, please do open the door. I promise you this is important." Helcurt knows that General Moscov would keep pestering him until that annoying human gets what he wants. Helcurt sighs, puts down the blades on the table in a neat order, and teleports to the door.
"What?" Helcurt says in his deep growly voice, trying to sound intimidating.
"General! Did you know October is coming?" Moscov says excitedly.
"October? Why?" Helcurt never really keeps track of future events unless it involves killing heroes in the Land of Dawn.
"That means Halloween is near!" Moscov then gasps. "Do you even have a costume ready?"
"Costume?" Before Helcurt could say anything else, Moskov brings out a full-body cat fursuit and shows it to Helcurt.
"Look! I saw this costume while walking around the farmers' market with my men. I bought it because it reminds me of you." Moscov hands the fursuit to Helcurt, and Helcurt is beginning to question himself why he had not silenced this crazy general yet.
Helcurt inspects the fursuit and finds it cozy enough that it won't irritate his shadowbringer skin, although the size of the fursuit is bigger than him.
"So... you like it?" Moskov examines Helcurt's reaction, and the demon cat seems very focused on the fursuit.
"Like?" Helcurt doesn't want to act like he's happy receiving a present, but it's been so long since someone has thought of him in a non-malicious light.
"You can have it! But in exchange, you have to take a picture with me while wearing the costume. Deal?" Moskov talks as fast as he throws multiple javelins at his enemies.
"Let me try it first, General. If it makes me look like a fool, I'll make you regret bringing this filth to me." Helcurt says, trying to sound as intimidating as possible.
"Sure, General, whatever you say," Moskov says as Helcurt shuts the door. Moskov feels excited seeing the other general wearing something that doesn't make him look like a barbaric filthy feline demon, or worse, a mutated cockroach.
"Let me get my costume too!" Moskov orders his men to fetch his costume. His men brought his twilight dragon costume, and they helped the marksman general put the dragon costume on.
When Moskov was done, he knocked on Helcurt's door and asked the feline demon if he was done. Helcurt opens the door, and Moskov and his men are greeted by the general with a bashful look, hiding his face behind the opening of the costume.
Moskov is really surprised that the other general had been so cooperative with his tomfoolery request, but he's not going to let go of this rare social moment with the antisocial feline general.
"Hey, don't hide your pretty face," Moskov moved his hand towards Helcurt's face, gently moving the strands of snow-white hair out of the general's face. The demon marksman just realized what he had just said and done. Helcurt had not said anything since putting on the fursuit and opening the door, and he is lost for words on what to say.
Helcurt tries to ground himself and focus on his surroundings. It's just a silly costume, so what if other demons see him wearing something oddly cute? Helcurt lets out his shadows and tries to regain his intimidating bravado. Moskov tries to clear the air of awkwardness and goes back to his excited self.
"So, are you ready? Let's take a picture! I can't wait to show Leomord how cute you are!" Helcurt scowls at the mention of General Leomord, but it's not like Leomord cares about such things anyway.
One of Moskov's men takes out a phone, and Moskov puts his arms around Helcurt, who is now feeling trapped inside the fursuit. Helcurt tries his best to keep himself steady while Moskov does some aggressive posing. A snap is taken, and it won't be long until Moskov uploads it to the Land of Abyss's hidden dark web network, inaccessible to anyone from the Land of Dawn. Helcurt hopes that Prince Dyrroth won't violently react upon seeing a picture of his "uncle general" in a cat fursuit.
