Work Text:
William Afton had always been a bit of a loner. He was never really good at socializing and making friends, so he didn't expect to develop a crush on one of his co-workers.
It started out small. He would find himself getting lost in their smile or the way their laugh made his heart feel warm. But soon, it was all he could think about. He would stay up at night, wondering what it would be like to kiss or hold their hand.
He knew he was being silly. After all, they were just a co-worker. A sacrifice to use in his machines.
One night, he mustered up the courage to ask them out for lunch.
"Hey, do you want to grab lunch together sometime?" He said, hoping they would say yes.
"Sure, that sounds great." They replied with a smile.
