A simple knock on her door was enough for Eden to shoot up from her seat and open it. She was happy to know that it was in fact Elysia who was at the door and not some random fan who somehow found her address. Oh, and her wife Mobius of course.
"Eden!!" Elysia said before quickly hugging the taller woman, her voice was joyful like always. She was happy that her friend had finally stopped being cramped up in her house, working and working on a new song, and is finally having a break. As much as Elysia loves her friend's music, she doesn't want to see her waste her life away for some song that she's struggling with. She hasn't even went out with her or Mobius for a few days.
"Took you long enough to allow us to come around," there was a scoff in Mobius's voice, but Eden knew they meant nothing rude and was just happy to see their friend again even though it's only been a few days.
"Aha, sorry about that. Please, do come in," Eden moved out the way to let them in, and Elysia being Elysia, made her way very quickly towards the living area and jumped onto the couch that was full of scrap pieces of music sheets and paper. Eden felt slightly ashamed that she didn't clean up as she forgot that the other two were coming around.
Though taking a closer look at the pink haired woman, she seemed not mind because she was too busy either looking at the failed music sheets, or too busy looking around the room despite her already knowing what it looks like. Even Mobius was doing it, which was slightly strange in Eden's opinion, but she payed no mind to it.
That was until Elysia sighed and gave Eden a look of pity. "This doesn't feel like you, Eden. Your house seems more gloomy than before." What? It confused Eden because there was nothing gloomy about her home. The dark colours were the same, but maybe that could've been the problem, but Elysia never had that problem before.
"Yeah, there isn't much joy to your house now, maybe you should take an actual break from trying to find the right melody, or the right lyrics. You haven't even seen us in a few days, in which is unlike you. You haven't even spoke about that boy you talk about all the time. It's worrying." Mobius had a hint of concern in their voice, but they were very good a hiding it so Eden didn't know if it was true or not. But the mention of the boy did make her blush.
He was so pretty and handsome to Eden. They go to the same cafe and he sits directly opposite her and the other table. He had beautiful blue eyes with a small scar that went across his eyebrow. He had long, fluffy, white hair with a few red streaks going down it. He looked slightly on the muscular side, but Eden couldn't exactly know if that was for sure because she's only ever seen him in sports stuff like maybe once or twice. She somewhat yearns to see him in it more often. He was just beautiful and handsome in Eden's eyes and she does miss him despite she's never even talked to him.
"Aww Mobi look, she's blushing," Elysia teased, which only made Eden blush even more. Mobius softly chuckled at the woman. Both of them wanted Eden to talk to that boy that's she's obsessed with so that they wouldn't have to listen to her mourn over him. That's when Elysia's face lightened up and it was almost like a light bulb had appeared on her face.
"Ohh, i know something good," she smirked at Eden before carrying on, "how about we go back to the café and try get you to talk with that boy. He's very handsome indeed and i think he would suit a lovely lady like you, Eden." Mobius just nodded their head, agreeing with their wife, it would be fun to see.
Eden waved her hands as an indication to say no. "No, i can't, i still need to finish my song and i have no time to be messing around." Elysia and Mobius just stared at her with disappointment. Usually, the woman would be very happy to do so, what has happened?
Mobius rubbed their face and sighed. "Eden, you are basically 40 years old-"
"I'm only 37," she butted in.
"37, basically 40, but you're wasting your life and fun time on music. I know you like it, but you are going to have to have some fun ever once in a while. Go out partying, or go have sex and have your pussy eaten or whatever, go talk to that god damn boy before i lose my shit because you are so in love it makes me sick. Please, for the love of God, take a break and come along with us and get that boy." Mobius took a deep breath, they finally got it out and they hope that Eden listens. Elysia kissed their cheek as a sign that they did well.
Eden was shocked, she was at a loss for words that all that had just came out of Mobius's mouth considering that Mobius also wastes their life for work sometimes, but it did make her think. It would be a good idea to get out and go to her favourite place and maybe that could help her think of something good for her music, but she wasn't so sure.
The more she thought, the quicker the answer came. It wouldn't be so bad to have a break. She sighed, "fine, I'll go out with you both." She could just see Elysia's face brighten up and w big smile appear on her lips.
"Aww Eden, let's get you ready because you are going to need to look amazing to impress that pretty boy. Now come along." Elysia dragged Eden to her room to get ready, leaving Mobius there on the couch to wait for them to get ready. They hope Eden can confess or get close to the boy because they've been struggling with having to listen to her rants about him.
"She hasn't been here in a few days and I'm going to lose it." Kiana dropped his head to the table. The woman that he always used to see coming in and sitting on the table across from him, hasn't been coming in for the past few days and he's starting to get said. He isn't afraid to say that he does have feelings for her despite not even talking to her once apart from a few waves and that's it.
Bronya just stared at him while Mei gave a sympathetic smile. "She's a singer, Kiana. She isn't always going to come in." Mei had told him in the nicest way possible, she didn't want to hurt his feelings because she knows how her friend feels about the woman.
"But- Argh, i just want to see her again. I know she's probably busy, but she had been coming in for weeks until a few days ago and i miss seeing her." Kiana didn't know when these feelings started, but they were intense. He really liked the woman and wanted to get a better chance of getting to know her this week, but it seemed like there was no luck for him.
"Haven't you got uni work to do?" Bronya questioned him. They knew he did, but they wanted to make sure that he did actually do his work and not mourn about the woman like she was dead. Though, they do feel bad for him a little, there's really nothing either them or Mei could do.
Kiana just made a sulking face and continued on with his work. He wanted to do well in school and with him growing up, he's matured a lot and is actually doing well at school, but he can't focus if his mind is full of that tall, beautiful woman. God, he misses her so much. He thought about her for some bit and wondered what she would think of him differently because he cut his hair to a short style. Yes, he did like his long hair, but his short hair makes him feel more connected to his identity.
"Do you think she would think of me differently because of my hair?" Kiana asked in a genuine matter because for some reason he was anxious about how she would think of him when she wasn't even there.
"I don't know, you may want to ask her as she's just came in with two other people." Mei said in a slightly teasing tone.
What?! Kiana's jaw dropped open as his eyes darted across the room trying to find the woman and ended up seeing her in a lovely dark blue shirt, with a black pencil skirt, black stockings? Kiana wasn't sure because he doesn't know much about feminine clothing, some black heels that made her taller which made him think she looked even more hotter, light makeup that looked amazing. Overall, she was stunning to him and he couldn't stop gawking at her.
"Close your mouth, you idiot, flies will come flying in." Bronya said, but not without a small smile because they found Kiana's face to be funny. Kiana took light offense to this but decided not to say anything. But looking more at the woman and two other people, there was no security guards to ensure the woman's safety, unless she told them not to come with her, it sort of concerned him.
The sound of a bag being zipped up brought him put of his thoughts. Both Mei and Bronya were packing up their things to leave. "We have to leave now, i hope you can finish the work off and good luck in trying to impress the singer," Mei said with a smile and Bronya just giving him a thumbs up before they quickly made their way outside. Now Kiana was left alone, he was panicking a little but he needed to keep his cool. He can do this.
"Can i take your order, please?"
"Just one black tea, one iced latte and one caramel hot chocolate and a slice of chocolate cake please," Elysia said to the cashier. Mobius and Eden had already sat down at the same table that's directly opposite of the boy, and by looking at him now, he's already checked the list of all good from Elysia.
"I don't look too bad, right?" Eden had asked Mobius for the 100th time, they didn't know what's up with the woman considering she's usually confident in her looks. "You look fine, you will be fine. Even the boy you've got your eyes on has been gawking at you and staring at you with loving eyes, it's gross." Mobius gave a small scoff at the end, making Eden giggle a little.
"Mobius, you literally stare at Elysia with the same loving eyes as that boy is doing." Mobius just stared at her. "But that's different, Elysia is my dear wife and that boy is just a stranger that you yearn for. Also i have to do that otherwise she would be sad."
Eden just smiled, she hoped that one day she could have a loving marriage like Elysia's and Mobius's, but for now all she can do is yearn for this pretty, handsome boy. Looking more at him now, she could see how more attractive he has gotten. He cut his hair so it was now short, she wasn't saying that she didn't like his longer hair because she did, but shorter hair made him look so much more attractive. Not to mention his outfit made him look extra fine. A black shirt that wasn't fully buttoned up so she could see a little of his chest and that she could see the gold chain that was around his neck, black pants that seemed to be sticking to his legs, showing his muscles and his cross earrings that were hanging from his ears. God, he did look so amazing to her.
The sound of drinks and a plate being placed down on the table and a voice speaking was enough to pull Eden out of the trace that was the boy. "Wow, Eden already staring," Elysia teased. She liked seeing her friend like this because it reassures her that Eden can still live her life like a normal person despite being a singer.
"Yeah and she's giving him the gay loving eyes too," Mobius sounded disgusted and amused at the same time. Their response made Elysia laugh softly because she knew that they did the exact same thing to her. "Aww Mobi, don't be like that." They just gave their wife a look before sipping their tea and going on their phone.
Eden just drank her latte and waited for either Elysia to speak or something pops up in her brain that she could use for the new song. She didn't know how to act because she was still worried about what the boy may think of her, but also because she doesn't know how she would talk to him.
She could hear a sigh coming from her friend who was shaking her head at her. "Please, just go talk to him. I know it seems like a big thing but i can't sit here and look at my friend looking at someone with yearning. I will have to take action for you if you don't hurry up," the last part was meant to be teasing of course. Elysia cared a lot for her friend and she wants to see her happy.
Eden just sighed. She wanted to go over and talk to him and she knew she could, but she was just so anxious for no known reason and she knew that was not her. She thought some more and decided that she was going to do it and she was going to talk to the boy like she was supposed to and hopefully not mess up. Why was she even worried about that? She was going to be fine she was sure.
Giving herself some time and from Elysia's encouragement, she finally got up and made her way over to the boy who seemed to be working and panicking at the same time. She got a sudden urge of confidence as she continued her way towards him.
Kiana had been there, not actually doing anything other than look at the table opposite him. He couldn't take his eyes off of the singer, Eden. He could also feel her eyes on him and he had caught her staring at him, making him blush. It sounds very cringy, but he didn't mind and wasn't bothered.
He kept texting his sister, Bronya and Mei for help and they did give him some reassurance and help, but fir the most part they told him he was going to be fine, in which he was until Eden started to walk towards him. This is when he started to panic because a gorgeous woman was walking towards him and how was he meant to react? His younger self would be extremely confident and he still did have some of that confidence, but it seemed like it wasn't working with him today. So, to avoid making things awkward, he decided to act like he was working.
"Hey pretty boy."
"Huh? Me?"
A slight chuckle came from her mouth, "yes you, handsome."
Kiana was as red as a tomato right now and felt his heart pump. She just called him pretty and handsome at the same time. He would never admit this to anyone, but he loved when people called him pretty and handsome, it gave him some sort of gender euphoria.
He quickly composed himself and suddenly felt a burst of confidence, which he had no idea where it came from, but he felt the need to address Eden in a nice way. "Well, be my guest my beautiful lady. Please, have a seat." He pointed at the chair with his hand and smiled at her.
Eden just smiled back at him with a tint of red in her cheeks. She can already tell that they were going to get along fine and she can tell that she's going to like him a lot. She pulled the chair out and sat down. She lifted her latte up in a sort of acknowledgement and spoke, "my name is Eden, but i think you already know that. What's your name, pretty boy?"
Kiana laughed softly and shortly with a flush to his face again. "Kiana. Kiana Kaslana," he answered, smiling at her with a sweet smile that he rarely ever shows anyone.
Kiana. Kiana. Kiana. His name was amazing and it felt good hearing it in her thought. It rolled off her tongue like she's been saying it for decades. She couldn't explain it, but it felt right to say his name and it felt amazing to actually finally know it. She couldn't help but smile a little.
He thought her smile was beautiful. It was perfect in every way. It could brighten up any place, just like how the sun starts to brighten most things up when it starts to arrive. Her smile shines brightly just like the moon and how it shines ever so brightly in the night, making it the entire focus. She was just so beautiful in his eyes and he's probably staring at her again.
Kiana felt a tap on his nose and it brought him back to reality, where it indeed tell him that he was staring and that he accidentally missed what Eden was saying. "You were staring, dear."
He blushed at the name and also because he was slightly embarrassed. He scratched the back of his neck, "sorry about that, i got lost in my thoughts." He knew damn well that wasn't true and she probably knew that too but wouldn't day anything just for the sake of him.
"I was asking how old are you and what work you are doing. I know that we don't actually know each other, but i would like to get to know you better," Eden had told him. She was going to add on that she has some feelings for him but doesn't want to progress because she wants to get to know him first.
"Ohh, I'm 25 and I'm working on some of my uni work for my teaching course and I'm doing some work for my dad, but i haven't been able to finish it because I've been so distracted," Kiana was slightly embarrassed because the reason why he was distracted, was because of the woman who was opposite him.
To say Eden was shocked would be an understatement. 25?! She didn't expect him to be so young and she didn't expect him to be in universe, but this makes her more anxious to know that he's 12 years younger than her. What if he wants nothing to do with her? Nevermind- she's was being dramatic. He probably already knows that she's 37 because of all the media and paparazzi. She never really got social media, so she was never on it and there's probably information about her all over there, in which she doesn't really care about.
She placed her drink down on the table, feeling slightly sick of the taste. She sighed softly before speaking, "you probably know how old i am because of social media and a lot of stuff about me. But i can also help you with your work, considering you were so distracted." The last part came out of her mouth with a teasing tone, she wanted to know what Kiana was so distracted by, but then again it wasn't her place to ask so.
Kiana blushed again slightly. He would tell her, but he was afraid he would make things awkward. "I actually only know a few things about you because people just spread around is the same thing, so it made me want to know you properly since you always come to here," he paused and rubbed the back of his neck in sort of embarrassed but shy way, "i just never really had the courage to go speak to you."
Eden just smiled, happy to know they were in the same boat. "Well, it seems like we are the same. I was too nervous to speak to you because I'm quite popular and i didn't want to get you in some sort of trouble. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but i do have some feelings for you, but i want to get to know you first before anything else."
Kiana was mentally screaming inside, not because of anything bad, but because that this gorgeous, amazing woman who is a singer and is famous, feels the same way as him. He obviously wanted to get to know Eden as much as she wanted to know him, and it made him feel good but also concerned because what if her image is damaged by him? He shook his head, he shouldn't be thinking about that right now.
He leaned over with a smirk on his face and grabbed Eden's hand that was on the table, and brought her hand up to his lips and kissed her knuckle. He didn't know why he did it, he just felt like it. "I'm happy that a beautiful woman like you feels the same way as i do."
Eden huffed and laughed before leaning over aswell. There she caught a glimpse of Kiana's body from his shirt. He was muscular, but he also had a little chub to him too, he had visible abs but they were the ones that look extremely soft and chubby in a way rather than hard looking like others. She could see his muscles flexing in arms through his shirt, it made her feel something. She had to look away, blushing, before she got thoughts in her head that weren't very family friendly shall we say.
"Like what you see?" The was a smug tone to Kiana's voice as he smirked at her. He liked it when women would look at him like that because it made him feel great. Eden turned her head towards him again and leaned in more. Now both of their noses were almost touching and she looked at him with adoration.
"But you also like what you see too, since you have been staring at me since I've came in and you don't realise it, but you do like to stare my boobs quite a lot and you have been doing it for a long time."
It was now Kiana's turn to be shy and look away. He couldn't help but stare, Eden was stunning, so how was he not supposed to stare at her like she was the most amazing woman he's ever seen? "Listen, i aha- i can't help that, you're just so gorgeous that i can't seem to keep my eyes off you." His confession made her blush again and it made her feel happy.
"And i can't seem to keep my eyes off you, my pretty boy." Huh? Wait what? Since when was she so possessive over him? She didn't mean to say it, but it seemed like Kiana didn't mind it.
"Well, my beautiful lady, why don't we work together to help me finish this, and why don't we tell each other more about ourselves?" Kiana kissed Eden's knuckle again and interlocked their pinkies together.
They just looked into each other's eyes, hinting something between them but not knowing exactly what it was. They both bursted into laughter without a care in the world.
Opposite them on the other table were two people, one who was very excited and looking at them with such pride in her eyes, and the other was staring at them with disgust in their eyes. It's not that it's not cute, it's just that it's annoying to them with the gross loving eyes just like how they do it to Elysia, but that's different.
Elysia was proud of her friend, she always had and she's even more proud of her now that she's actually talking and flirting with the man she's been obsessed with. Also because the boy is cute and he ticks the her list that he's good.
"They look cute~" Her voice rang out in a singsong voice.
Mobius scoffed, "they look gross. Look at them with their loving eyes, it's annoying." Elysia just laughed at their response. She knew they meant it, but it was just funny to her because they do the same to her.
"Aww, but my dear Mobius, you do the same with me and i love it," she quickly pulled them into a hug where they quickly wrapped their arm around her waist. She leaned over and gave them a small kiss on the cheek.
They sighed, "that's different, we are married and they are practically still strangers."
Elysia just smiled at them and looked over to the other two. "But they don't seem like strangers now. Look at them and look at them before, they were all over each other. I find it rather cute, the boy seems rather cute too," she sighed before carrying on, "i wanted to go talk to him for Eden because he seems fun to tease, but i couldn't do that to her."
She could feel Mobius's grip on her waist tighten, that's how she knew they were jealous. "Why don't you go over to them and join them if you're so desperate to," they weren't angry, oh no they weren't, just a little jealous.
"I wouldn't because i don't want to ruin their time, and because I'm only for you" Elysia said in a sweet tone, placing her hand on their cheek and pulling them closer to her.
Mobius just smiled, "you know that's right." They pulled her into a soft kiss that would soon turn into something different, but we won't get into that.
Kiana doesn't know how many hours, minutes, or seconds has went by since he started talking to Eden, but he didn't care because he was having the time of his life. Finding out that not only can she sing, but she can play multiple instruments, that she likes to play tennis and loves a good bottle of wine.
"Haha.. Oh my, so that really happened?" She couldn't stop laughing.
"It really did. My dad couldn't pick up the bar, so my sister picked it up, whacking my dad in the process and he made a noise that sounded like a really funny cartoon noise. He then knocked over a bucket that was full of water and then i slipped over that and it was just a huge mess." Kiana had said this with a big smile remembering the memory. It was quite funny and hearing Eden's laugh was worth it.
"Oh my god, Kiana, that's so funny, but I'm sorry that I'm going to have to cut it short here. I've just remembered that i need to do some interview. I'm really sorry, i really liked today and I'm glad that i got to talk to you and i hope we can speak next time." Eden could see the light in Kiana's eyes dim, she felt sad that she had to go. She really did enjoy her time with him.
She got up and was about to leave, when a hand grabbed her wrist. She looked back to Kiana smiling at her, it made her feel warm. "Can i at least take you somewhere out for a day? I want to spend more time with you."
"So, you're asking me out on a date?" Eden questioned with a soft smile.
"Yeah, i guess i am."
Eden giggled, "i would gladly go on a date with you." She could see the light in his eyes shine up again and his face so bright, just like a child who has just gotten their favourite toy for Christmas. She gave him her phone and he gave his to her so that they could exchange numbers. Kiana couldn't help, but feel a rush of adrenaline through his blood, he was so nervous and excited.
Once all that was over with, Eden had to make her way out and on her way to wherever the interview was meant to be. But she wasn't going to leave until she done something special.
"Hold on, I've got something for you." She made leaned over to him and placed her hand under his chin.
"Hhm?" He was slightly confused as to what she was doing, but allowed her to do whatever.
Eden lifted his face up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Goodbye, my pretty boy." And with that, she walked out of the café with her friends and she turned back just as she was about to leave and blew a kiss towards Kiana.
"What took you so long? It's freezing out here," It was Mobius's voice. They were clinging to Elysia for warmth because it was indeed very cold outside than it was before. Eden wasn't too bothered about it because she was already warm and because she was blushing which gave her more warmth.
"I was just giving Kiana a special something."
"Oo, so that's his name~" It was Elysia this time and she could see that Eden was blushing, so she decided to tease the taller woman. "I bet Kiana loved it and i bet you want to do it more-" She was stopped by her partner. "Be quiet, love." Elysia just pouted and snuggled up more to them.
"You're right, Ellie, and I've got a date with him soon." Eden couldn't help but smile at the thought of him and the date and the whole night if she was being honest. "And I've finally got a good idea for the song."
She could feel her arm get nudged by Mobius. Both them and Elysia were smiling at Eden like proud parents despite Mobius only being a few years older than her and Elysia being a year younger than her. "That's our girl!" They both said together, which made all of them laugh before they parted ways.
While that was going on, back in the café, Kiana had completely shut down and was sat there in shock. He got a kiss from Eden that he never would've thought he would ever get. His heart was racing. He wanted to scream and squeal, but he remembered that he was in public so he never. He just couldn't believe that had happened and he was so happy.
It took some time for his brain to start working again and he remembered he had to leave now because he no longer needs to stay. This was probably the best day he's ever had in a long time and he couldn't wait to tell everyone. But there was a slight problem, instead of doing the work that both him and Eden said they were going to do, well it was his but she said she would help him. They never even did it because they were too distracted talking to each other and now it around 6pm and Kiana needed to finish so much work.
'Well shit' he thought, but at least he got a pretty woman's number and a date, that's all that matters, right?
