Mikes Pov:
It's been two months since school started again, and this is my first year of high school. For a week, I have been getting these letters in my locker.
It's weird because they don't have a name on them, so I'm not sure who made them. However, they all have a poetic quality to their writing. I get one each day. So today at lunch, I was planning to tell the party about them.
The bell rings, so I shut my locker and head to class. I walk to my desk and sit down. After some time, class is over. I start walking to lunch and sit down with the rest of the party.
"Hey, Dustin said," he said, putting down his lunch tray and sitting next to Lucas.
(My seat is next to Will.) "Guys, I need to tell you something..." I said.
Everyone looks up from their lunch tray. 'So I've been getting these letters in my locker for a week, so I decided to tell you guys about it.'
What kind of letters, Lucas asked curiously.
“Love letters'' I responded.
"Love letters, you?" Are you sure? "Who would send you love letters?"
"I mean, you and El broke up last year, and I haven't even seen a girl look at you since then," said Lucas. ''
El and I agreed that we were better off as friends, and clearly, there is some girl who likes me; why else would I be getting these “Love Letters?" "Fine, well, who do you think it would be then, says Dustin.
"Hey, Will, what do you think about this situation?" Dustin asked. He looks up with wide eyes. "Oh, uh, I don't know." He stands up and leaves the table.
The whole party shares a look. Suddenly, the bell rings, and school is done for the day. I walk up to Will. He is at his locker, getting his things. "Hey, Will, do you want to come over to my house later?" I asked. I need some help studying for that test tomorrow. "Sure," Will responded. They start walking, and eventually, they arrive at the Wheeler's house.
