"Why stepping aside, Alfred?" Eddie teased the butler knowingly. "You are the original bat-dad, you deserve to feature on the pictures too!"
The British spy was not a demonstrative person in general. This being said, he put a hand on his heart to signify Edward's genuine invitation touched him... and he joined behind the trio before the photo camera reached its countdown.
Wrapped in a cute eggplant dress, Stephanie smiled widely at the camera from between her equally smiling fathers sitting on the leather couch. Alfred placed both hands on the boys' shoulders from behind.
What a perfect family picture.
Pictures, plural. They enjoy keeping images of joyous shared slices of time.
Steph is two years old; last month, Edward's last name has been changed legally to be edited into 'Wayne'. Albeit not an official wedding, wearing his love and his daughter's name meant a lot to Eddie. He cried happy tears when Bruce proposed him to achieve another step into being fully considered, by everyone, a Wayne Family member.
Funny, how things can evolve in one's life.
For example, not so long ago Ed wouldn't have believed he'd be delighted to celebrate Father's Day.
Now however...
The following picture portrayed a giggling Stephie looking up to her enamored dads who kissed above her head, while Alfred gazed at his boys with a mildly reproving though sincerely fond glance.
