Summary:

What happens, what can you do to Chad enough that he changes who he is? What brakes a character?

Work Text:

I

Chad has lost Morgan to the Eternity Area. Morgan has listened to the voices of all the lying scoundrels the world calls heroes.

And Chad? He can't take it; the veil over his eyes has been lifted with the death of his brother Morgan.

Though unbeknownst to Chad, Morgan is alive and well. What has only been a few hours for Morgan has been literal years for Chad.

Ruling by Rex's side Chad has embraced villainy, much to his family's dismay.

A doorway opens, and Alex and Morgan leave the Eternity Area to a new world. One ruled by Chad and Rex. Villains.

There are a lot of questions.

How does Morgan react to this new world?

He's still angry at his brother, but how can he justify the anger when his brother believed him dead and changed sides to honor him?

How does Alex react to a world that forgot about them?

How can Alex remind the world to fear the S-tier instead of the new villains that once used to be heroes?

What does this new world mean to the two who've been gone for years but only feels like hours?

How does Chad react to seeing his brother, who was once proclaimed dead?

Does anything change? Or has Chad moved on enough that villainy and Rex are all that matters to him?

What does this new world look and feel like?

Do heroes still exist? Or have they all been wiped out by Rex and Chad?
