Summary
A canon adjacent/divergent retelling of the back end of season four. It is canon to 4.16 Mind Games, and will hit some of the plot points in season four, but there will also be additional content and lots of rewriting. This is strictly from Pacey's point of view. The inspiration was to understand what Pacey was really going through during this part of the series because, as one of my lovely readers said, his story deserves to be told.
I am a die-hard PJo stan, but this fic does not shy away from the complexities or realities of the difficulties in their relationship during this time. It is a more realistic view of their relationship and the problems they face at this point in the series. There is a lot of sad Pacey in this fic, but I promise NO CANON PROMICIDE!
I know it can be rough to read about the less-than-happy times of our beloved PJo, but I believe the difficult times help them become a stronger couple in the long run, and these rough parts are just as important as the happy times. I love them both dearly as characters, and I promise to write them with that love, even when they make mistakes.
