Miles had always loved Phoenix.
He loved how he was always fiery and passionate, never backing down from a fight. He was always loyal to his clients and friends, always ready to fight for what he believed in. And he loved how he always seemed to see the best in people, even when they didn't deserve it.
He had never dared to tell the defense attorney before, but now, on this special day, he was finally going to tell him how he felt.
He was so nervous, but he knew that man was worth it.
"Phoenix, I love you," he said as he took his hand. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"
Phoenix was shocked, but he couldn't help but say yes. He loved Miles just as much as he loved him and knew they would be happy together.
