Mateo and Jonah have been best friends since they started working together at Superstore. They bonded over their shared love of comic books and movies, and they've been inseparable ever since.
Tonight, they're both working the late shift at Superstore. Mateo is stocking shelves, and Jonah is handling the register. It's been a slow night, so they've had much time to talk.
"Hey Jonah, do you ever wonder what it would be like if we were in a relationship?" Mateo asks.
Jonah blushes. "I, um, I don't know. I've never really thought about it."
"Well, I have," Mateo admits. "I think about it all the time. I can't help but wonder what it would be like to kiss you or to hold you close."
Jonah is silent for a moment. "Mateo, I...I think I might like that too."
