Prologue

Hell has its... unique history. Some say that there are only demons living there; others say otherwise. Before the brothers came into power, was when Fairies lived and thrived in Devildom. There was, in fact, a kingdom just for them. With such drastically different environments, the fairies were forced into hiding, as they were mercilessly being hunted and killed... for their wings. The wings of a fairy were none like any other, as they came with numerous benefits, the ability to fly, the ability to heal oneself, the powers no ordinary demon could possess. It was considered an exquisite antique, worth enough Grimm to end world hunger. And that was a regular fairy's wing... the imperial family of the fairies, their wings were more than any treasure in all of devildom combined. As the years went by, more and more of the fairy population drastically declined as the hunt for them started. The Fairy King, the "Titan," bravely searched for a safe haven for the fairies as they all went into hiding. With that, the demons suffered greatly. How? The fairies were the reason why the ecosystem in Hell flourished, the ecosystem that provided demons/witches with the food and the herbs they needed. It was a big problem; with these resources becoming scarce, the demons begged the Demon King to do something. Of course, it was their fault, and it was the only time the demons were taking ownership of something they did. With that, the Late Demon King went by himself on a 5-day expedition in search of the fairies. As he found the fairies, he requested to meet with the Titan.
With that, there was a very long and tedious talk, with the two kings discussing the future of their kingdoms. The two Kings exchanged words, and the Kings reached an agreement. The Fairies shall return to tending Hell's ecosystem without fear of being hunted. They would be protected by the Devil's castle and their royal family for many generations. As per the Fairies, the royal family will tend to the ecosystem for many generations. There was one more rich detail in this agreement; anyone aside from the royal family shall not know that the Fairies are still alive, which means that anyone outside of the Demon royal family would be told that there was no such thing as fairies. The two Imperial families made a pact that now carried on to the younger generation.
