Navier was considered the perfect empress, due to keeping her facade and emotions in check despite whatever unfavorable situation she found herself in.
There was one person though, who could get a rise out of her.
“Empress! Turn me back.”
And that was her husband, Sovieshu who was currently sporting the cutest puppy dog ears and matching tail, it was what he deserved for pushing her buttons so much.
“No.”
“I can’t attend court in this state.” He tried to argue, and that was true.
But…
“Why? I think his majesty looks very adorable this way.”
…He looked so cute like this.
“You..what?” Seeing the blush that was on Sovieshu’s face had Navier realizing that she had just said it out loud.
“I said that out loud, didn’t I?” Navier could feel her cheeks growing warm as her own blush appeared. “I will get rid of them for you, your majesty.”
“You don’t have to do it right away, Navier.”
Her heart sped up just the tiniest bit, like it always did whenever he said her name. “Alright, Sovieshu. But you do look adorable.”
