The Missing Girl
Summery: Olivia sat at her desk in the 16 Precinct working on a story that she had written when she was little, but what where to happen if someone on the squad where to read it and found something out that she never wanted for people or her co-workers to find out.
Chapter 1
Manhattan 16th Precinct SVU Squad room 7.15 am
Olivia was sitting at her desk looking through a folder that she made growing up, as she was as she was looking through the folder she noticed something out of the side of her eyes that one of her co-workers was going to throw something at her and she was right as the object neared her she put her hand up to catch it as she did she looked up at the paper ball in her hand then at her co-workers, Elliot, Fin and John with a raised eyebrow and a look that said ‘what’s with the paper ball being thrown at me and who ever it was is going to be dead’.
They all read her expression on her face and then they all started to pointing fingers at each other Elliot pointed to Fin, Fin pointed to John who pointed to Elliot while Elliot also pointed to John as well.
”Munch what’s with the paper ball being thrown at me” Olivia said as she put the ball in the bin next the her desk and her folder with all her things in it into the bottom drawer of her desk.
”Um uh sorry Liv, I… We where just wondering what you where reading since the captain called your name a few time and then so did we, oh and the captain want to talk to you about someone in office said that once you where finished reading”… he was cut off by Olivia saying “let me guest go and see him in his office with the stuff that I was reading, I know the drill Munch but thanks” she said as she rooked the folder again and walked to Craven’s door and knocked her knock once with three knocks.
“Knock, knock knock”
“Come in” she heard him say, she sighed as she walked in with her folder in hand
“Have a seat Liv” he said with a smile as he could see sadness in her eyes as she dropped her gaze from her captain’s.
“Liv what’s wrong is everything okay”
“I’m fine Capt but I’m not at the same time as she looked at her captain then back at the folder in her hands on her lap.
“Liv you know that you can tell me anything”
“I know Capt but it’s hard to talk about “
“Okay well you know where I am if you want to talk about anything okay”
“Yeah thanks Captain and I will talk to you, but I’ll let you know when”.
“Okay, you may want to get back to work before they kill each other”
“Haha yeah I guest your right about that Captain” Olivia said as she got up and walked out of Cragen’s office then walked over to her desk and sat down and put her folder away in the bottom drawer of her desk then started some paperwork.
As soon as Olivia sat down at her desk Captain Cragen came out of his office with a case file in hand and handed it to Olivia and her partner. The file was of a young girl that was kidnapped then after being missing for months the guy that took her had left her room door open, she woke up one night and got her clothes and shoes on before trying her room door which opened and then she went up the stair while staying quiet as she got to the last step and opened a door that led to the kitchen and then made her way through the house to the front door that would lead to he escape. When Olivia finished reading the file it had said the name of the girl on the file and the family of the girl along with how old the girl was when she went missing etc.
"Benson, Stabler you go talk to the parent's" Craigen said "Fin, John I want you to talk to the girl's teacher at her school, oh Liv what was the name of the girl again"
"um her nahm is the same as mine Capt but the file must be wrong as it says she was born on the same day as me and the same year so she would now be an adult now" Olivia said as she sat the file down and as she sat it down a small photo of the missing girl falls out of the file and slides over to Elliot's side of the two desks.
Elliot picks up the photo and examine it then passes it to Olivia while saying "this must be the girl that went missing" "That can't be the girl that went missing that is me when I was young" replied Olivia confused.
Straight after she looked at the photo she went to the bottom drawer of her desk and pulled out the folder that was looking at this morning she took out the folder and looked through it till she found the photo of herself when she was 5 years old, the photo was the same one as the one from the file of the case file.
"Olivia are you sure that it is you in that photo and not just a ...." Elliot stopped mid sentence because Olivia was passing him the two photos back and they both looked the same "El try and tell me that girl in the first photo from the missing girl file is not the same girl from the one that I just pulled from my folder" Olivia said as she walked up the stairs to the cribs and before disappearing she said " And don't even think about reading the stuff in the file that I left out on my desk" then she made her way into the cribs and lay down on one of the cot beds as she let the tears fall down her face while trying to fall asleep
