Work Text:
Ranboo was running. He didn’t know what to do. The voice was back. Was it gonna hurt him, his family, his friends?
“No, I don’t want this. Please.” Ranboo begged as he ran further into the forest.
“But Ranboo. I am your friend. You can trust me. Just give in. It will be okay.”
Ranboo shook his head. “No, you only brought me trouble. You hurt me every time. You hurt everyone around me.”
“But you helped me. Isn’t that what you want? To help everyone.”
“I want to help everyone, yes. But you sound like Dream and everything you made me do had something to do with Dream. And I don’t want to be associated with that monster.” Ranboo said. He shook his head once more hoping it would get rid of the voice.
“Ranboo, you know you won’t get rid of me. Just give in and it will be okay. I will make sure you stay safe.” The voice taunted.
“I don’t want myself to be safe. I want my friends and family to be safe.”
“Oh. So I can hurt you, but not Tubbo and Michael and Phil and Tommy.”
Ranboo’s eyes widened. “NO! Don’t hurt them. Please. I beg.”
The voice laughed. “But they are so much fun to play with. Just let me play with them. It’s gonna be fun. And you can watch it.”
Ranboo pulled his hair. This voice why was it like this. He hated it. Could it not just leave him alone?
Maybe there was water nearby. If he just jumped in the water, the voice would stop as well. It has to. Because his brain would be too busy with the pain.
Yeah, that was the plan. Search for water and drown. Everything to escape the voice.
“Ranboo, don’t you dare. Don’t go towards water.” The voice screamed.
“You can’t stop me!” Ranboo yelled as he started running again.
“You can’t stop me, and I will protect them.” Ranboo sounded desperate, but at the same time very sure of himself.
The voice laughed. “Is that a challenge?”
oh no… No, it wasn’t a challenge…. Ranboo’s mind was panicking. He could feel himself start to slip away. His peripheral vision started to blur and go black. No. No, no, no, no.
This was bad.
“Don’t fight it Ranboo. Give up. Just give in.”
“Never!” Ranboo yelled as he saw water in the distance. He started to run faster. He could safe this.
Just as Ranboo was about to jump in the water, his vision fully blurred.
“Too late, too bad. Now you listen to me.” The voice taunted as Ranboo had to watch how his body stepped away from the water.
“Let’s see. Where are we going today? How about we visit Tubbo and Michael, shall we?”
