“It’s your life Bradley, it’s yours not his.”
Laura’s heart broke in two while waves crashed in Bradley’s ocean eyes.
All she could do was be there for her but it didn’t feel like nearly enough. She reached down to the coffee table to grab a box of tissues which she then started to wipe Bradley’s tears away with and tidy up her make-up.
“Listen, there’s about a half hour left of the show so we’re going to go out there, do our jobs and then I’m bringing you back to mine, okay?”
Bradley nodded, Laura standing up with her. They walked out of her dressing room without anyone seeing them, not that they were worried about that right now, and headed back to the studio.
Laura looked over to Bradley, “keep it together, just for the show, you can let it all out later.” She says sending a subtle but reassuring smile to Bradley.

After the show, the pair returned to their separate dressing rooms to get changed, waited for most of the others to leave and headed out to where Laura’s driver was waiting.
The short ride back to Laura’s was quiet, Bradley facing the window. Laura watched her the whole way back, just in case she were to turn around.
They made their way up through Laura’s house to her lounging area and dumped their bags on the floor.
“Just give me a minute and i’ll go and get you a drink okay?” Laura tidies her bag away so it’s more organised than before.
“Can you just stay here?” Bradley asked.
“I’ll only be a minute.”
“Please…”
And at that, silent tears rolled down Bradley’s cheeks as they had done a few hours previous.
“Honey...” Laura hopped on the couch and held Bradley “It’s okay, it’s okay…..you’re going to be okay.”
