Day 4; Clarisse/Silena

Summary:

Silena and Clarisse love each other while trying to escape their normal lives

Notes:

I'm back, I have a girlfriend and I pulled multiple muscles from hiking. I didn't put much effort into this, but I love them, love their cute moments. Enjoy!

Work Text:

Stepping out of the Aphrodite hut, Silena thought about the Pegasi. She should go feed them and maybe take one for a ride.

While walking to the stables she encountered various campers and was almost hit by an arrow. To no surprise Percy was the one holding the bow, and apologizing profusely, while Annabeth tried to lecture him about handling a bow.

Chuckling she finally arrived at the stables and low and behold – Clarisse, the one person that nobody thinks likes horses, is tending to a Pegasus.

Trying to sneak up behind her, Silena tip-toed her way to her girlfriend.

“I can hear you perfectly well, you know.” Clarisse said and turned around only to be greeted by a big hug from Silena.

“I know that you can hear me, but I like sneaking up on people, especially you. And I don’t mind being caught by you.”

Clarisse laughed at this comment and got up from her seat. Leaning down, she kissed the smaller girl on the forehead and looked into her eyes with a smile on her face.

“Stop it,” Silena whispered as she turned her head away, because she didn’t want Clarisse to see her face turning pink.

“I already fed all the Pegasi, so we can take some time off together until dinner. How about we go to the lake?”

Realizing that Clarisse had done her chores for her, Silena looked at her annoyedly.

“I appreciate that you want to spend time with me, but you can’t just do my responsibilities for me.”

“I can and I will, babe. You’re worth it.”

Clarisse went into a kneeling position and picked up Silena like a sack of potatoes, who was unsuspecting of this mischief.

Laughing, Clarisse walked out of the stables and towards the lake, with Silena protesting from her shoulder.

After arriving at the water, Clarisse put Silena down and lay next to her.

“I wish every day could be like this. I wish we could just stay like this forever; I don’t want to fight this these stupid battles. I want us to lead a “normal” life, as far as that’s possible for us.” Clarisse said while staring up into the sky.

Lying down next to her Silena snuggled up into her lover's arm and silently agreed with her.

Taking in a long breath of air, she smelled the familiar smell of peppermint and iron.

‘I wish I could freeze time and stay here with her. I don’t care if we’re not meant to be together, but I need her.’ Silena thought to herself while putting her arm over Clarisse’s stomach.

‘Fuck. I like Silena so much I can’t picture my future without her anymore. This is bad. My dad is not gonna be happy, but I don’t care about him anymore. She just completes me.’ Clarisse adjusted her position so Silena could put her head on her chest.

Slightly moving her head on Clarisse’s chest, Silena listened to her heartbeat while thinking to herself: ‘I was so stupid for not liking her before. I always thought she was stupid and a brute, but ever since I caught her taking care of the Pegasi once, I've liked her. I never thought it could become a relationship like this one, but I’m happy it did.’

After a while of just lying, they fell asleep, both feeling safe and loved in each other’s arms.

“Wake up guys, we’ll be late to dinner” Annabeth yelled.

Jerking up, Clarisse had forgotten where she was.

Realizing that she still had Silena in her arms, she smiled and whispered in her ear: “Wake up, it’s time for dinner.”

Grunting, Silena got up and started walking towards the tables, but all she could think about was the love and security of Clarisse’s hold on her.

Walking quickly to catch up with Annabeth, she wanted to tell her not to tell people about them, but Annabeth interrupted her.

“I won’t tell anyone except if you want me to, but you guys looked so peaceful and calm with each other, I haven’t seen Clarisse look like that in a long time.”

Silena sighed; “I know. Her father expects too much from her, and she’s just so stressed by this whole situation too. I want to be her safe space and help her through this.”

As Clarisse caught up with them, Annabeth jogged off to join Percy on his way to the Pavilion.

Grabbing her hand, Clarisse pulled Silena into her embrace and picked her up. She started running towards the Pavilion while challenging Annabeth and Percy to a race.

Silena never wanted to leave this moment and realized just how much she loved Clarisse.
