“Hey! Yuu! Maybe you should stay at scariba this month.” kalim said running up to Yuu and Grim. “what? Is there a reason?” Yuu asked, turning to him. “Uh- yeah actually for october there's a something that goes around the school… and i want to make sure your safe!” kalim stated Yuu humed “ok, grim well stay at scariba for the month. But we need to study so i guess i’ll see you later then.” Yuu said, starting to head to the library. “September day rules . no. september night rules. No. october day rules. No. ah october night rules! Jesus they have rules for like every month…” Yuu muttered sweat dropping as he put grim down to grab the book. “Ok… no. no. ah! Ok it says here! In October students must go to bed at 8pm everyday, at night a fogy mist cover the school ground and a creature that lures people out into the night with a mellody and what happens to them is unknown. Hum.. i wonder what it is grim.” grim looked from the book to Yuu. “Yuu whats with that face. Don’t use that face your planing something.” yuu was looking at the book. “I’m gonna find out what it is.” yuu said and grim growned “but first research! Come on!” Yuu said dragging grim to another section in the library “oh! Grim look at this! A creature called sirens they are half human and half bird, and lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of their songs. All though no one has been found by the crashes there has been crashes and journals of people going missing after dark, but found no trace of those people the next morning. Some people have claimed that the creachers are not trying to kill but the people lost are never found. After the 5th century no signs of them have been recorded.” grim looked at the page Yuu was reading. “They’ve been gone for years Yuu it can’t be the thing around here.” grim said. “One way to find out! let's go to scariba i’ll stay up and leave through the window with a camera. I’ll be safe promise Grim.” Yuu said picking him up and petting him.

Later that night 8pm

“*yawn* maybe it was just a-” Yuu was cut off hearing soft song through the window. Yuu tucked grim in before carefully climbing out the window with a camera attached to their arm and recording to a cloud. When they got to the singing they saw a person with a bird-like lower half and wings they were about 7 - 8 feet tall(213 - 243cm) ”H-hello?” Yuu approached the creacher “ your not scared?” it asked “not really no. you don’t look that scary. You’re rather pretty, I do ask what are you doing here?” Yuu asked it the creacher. It moved down to be Yuu’s eye level. “We need help but no one can help… they run and hide from us” it said Yuu carefully reached up and pet it “humans?” Yuu asked and the creacher nodded. “Oh… i understand, people are scared because of all the stories there told of you guys, are you the only one here now?” Yuu asked the creacher thought about it. “No. they hide so they don’t get hurt. People don’t attack but the run and scream, we fear that.” it said as Yuu continued to pet it. "Why are you guys hurting?" Yuu asked the creatures " we are injured." It said moving its wing to show a huge gash. "Oh my! Uh.. I will be back, stay here." Yuu said climbing back through the window and grabbing a first aid careful not to wake anyone, and then went back outside. "Here can I see your wing?" Yuu asked, it lifted its wing up so Yuu could see it. "I'll be careful" Yuu said gently putting a medical potion on it the creature batted its wings in pain but calmed down when Yuu ran their fingers through the feathers of the wings. "Its alright~" Yuu said before wrapping the ingary in a bandage. “There. *kiss*” Yuu kissed the wrapped wound and pet the cracther “there you go lets go to my dorm you can rest and heal there! Just like a little bird, believe it or not some people feared simple birds in my world.” Yuu said, still petting him. “Your world?” it asked as Yuu walked with it to ramshackle. “I’m not from this world, i’m from one where people or creatures like you don’t existed, no magic either.” Yuu said letting it rest in ramshackle. “You can stay here, but before i go i want to have you a place to stay in here. Let me clean out a room.” Yuu said pushing things around in an empty room and put blankets on the floor apologizing about not having a bed for him. “It’s alright, thank you.” it said. “Question what should i call you?” Yuu asked, having left only to come back with a ton of snacks. "Heidi.. just Heidi. I'm what people have called sirens." “ok heidi well i’ll check on you every day.”

A few days later

Yuu had been taking care of heidi and bringing grim for the past week when Yuu asked Heidi an important question "do you think you could live peacefully with people?" Heidi thought and nodded. "We could. Its not that hard. I'm here peacefully, am I not?" Heidi asked Yuu smiled "of course you are, so I was thinking would you like to be a student here? You're half human and can live and talk with others. I'd say you could." Yuu said checking on the wing. "Could i?" Yuu nodded, as grim grabbed a book and showed Heidi "we could make you feel more comfortable too!" Heidi looked at the pages seeing it would only change a small portion. " ok. I'll do this." Heidi said.

It was well after Halloween now and ramshackle had many new students all have wings and feather on their back and neck and along other parts hidden by cloths and none other then Heidi talked much. So now Yuu has to fend off Rook for their dorm mates and keep the students in line. And though it's still tradition for people to sleep early during october Yuu and the dorm are up caring and being themselves.
