El wasn't dumb, she knew something was wrong with her best friend, Mike.

The beginnings of her suspicious were about two weeks ago since know, and it all started with one simple thing.

Mike was being nice, he was not a bad person or someone shitty, of course not, but he was being a lot more nice than usual, he was always smiley, he didn't smile often

El even caught him kicking his feet and silly giggling over something she didn't know about, what happened with friends don't lie? He looked like the girls in love on the movies El has been seen....

a realization came into El's mind, she was in her bedroom, shocked

maybe, just maybe

Mike Wheeler was in love with one pretty girl?, the idea send excitement and happiness to El, it's the only thing that could make sense to her, and to the weird acting Mike has been showing these weeks

who was the girl that stoled Mike's heart?

She needed to know, if u didn't noticed yet, she was a little bit gossip, the world still amazed her, her own emotions and the others too, she wanted to know it all.

No girl stole Mike Wheeler's heart, but a certain person, with hazel eyes and a funny haircut (but very pretty for Mike) also a hyperfixation on DND did.

Will byers, people in the back, he was the special person, he was who Mike liked, but nobody knew it yet.

The two boys were in the freckled one room, enjoying each others company.

"Are u drawing me again, byers? i didn't know i was this pretty" the blackhaired made a silly pose, Will giggled while he blushed.

Yes, he was drawing his boyfriend, again. At this point his whole sketchbook was about Mike's face, he didn't regret it, actually. "Yes, i am, i can't draw my handsome boyfriend?" he tried to flirt back, nervous about it.

Mike's heart melted, instantly grabbing Will's cheeks and kissed him with a softly touch. Both boys hearts beating fast, like they were talking to each other, showing each others their feelings, their love.

When they break the kiss, they started at each others eyes, Will could get lost into the freckled one eyes. "U are really so pretty, Mike."

It was just a compliment, a single word, but it meaned the world to Mike. They were laying in bed while Mike looked at Wills draw, and then he started kicking his feet again at the compliment his boyfriend made.

Will smiled, letting out a big laugh. "Are u kicking your feet? god, i wouldn't have imagined the suuper mature and serious Mike Wheeler kicking his feet for just a compliment"

Now it was Mike's time to blush, he covered his face with his hands. "Shuut up, it's only because is you"

"Me?, uh, and what makes me so special to you, Mike?" Will was flirting, and for god sake Mike's heart wasn't used to it, bu he liked it, a way lot more he likes to admit. The smile on Will's face was unbreakable, the light in his eyes when the hazel meet the deepest sides of Mike's sight were it too.

"Because you are my boyfriend, and i...i lov- !"

Suddenly, Nancy appeared, fuck Mike didn't look his door. The two screamed a little bit, they were so deep into their world that they didn't notice everything else, it just were the two of them.

It scared the shit out of mike, who breathed heavily, all of his face blushed, he almost says i love you to Will.

"He almost says i love you, He almost says i love you" Will thought, his heart beating fast, not for the suddenly interruption, but because of mike.

The girl looked at the pair, they were close, actually to close, but she didn't say anything. "El's here, she want to see you, Mike. I don't know what happened but she looks like she discovered the cure of cancer or the secrets in the space, so you better tell me later what she says to you" Mike's big sister winked with complicity, and Mike was relieved that she didn't ask anything more

Nancy didn't know about Mike and Will, either.

Mike gasped in relieve when his sister finally left, but when he looked back at will, he knew that he was forgetting something. "Oh! Shit!, El's here...."

they both looked at each other, it was so obvious why. "We can talk about it when El left you kn-"

"I love you, Will." The words came out without even thinking about it, Mike blushed and covered his mouth. Will's face was almost the same red of a tomato, butterflies in his stomach and a silly laugh, "I love yo...your comics! totally haha" Mike's heart dropped fast, Will didn't love him too?

Will notice it, he was incapable of saying something at the time. "El is behind you, Mike" the hazel eyed speaked softly, trying to communicate himself, that was the reason he didn't say i love you back.

Mike was still hurt, because this wasn't what he wanted, his desires....he wanted to be able to scream at the sky that he was in love with Will Byers and only him.

Maybe one day, right? yes, he dreamed about that.

The girl looked back at the pair, confused but she didn't ask a thing, she just smiled at Mike, but it was a confident smile.

Sometimes, Will was jealous about El, before him and mike confessed to each other. But now he knew that he didn't have to worry about her.

The girl finally break the silence. "Are u two guys okey? Will's face is so red and you... mike u look like u just see a ghost or something" She came into the room, sitting down between her friends. Will instantly closed his sketchbook, begging that El didn't notice. "We are fine, El, why are u here?" the brownhaired asked, actually curious about it.

And kinda upset, he could have say i love you back to Mike. ”Uhm...well, it was something private i wanted to share with mike but, since u are here and you two seem pretty close....maybe you know it, maybe not, but, uhm..." The nervous in the girl's voice make Mike worry, something private? something that Will could know?

Okey, know he was kinda scared. "What's it?, El, it's safe here u can say it" Mike answered.

"I know u like a girl!" she almost screamed and Mike's face was hilarious, did he heard well???

he?? in love?? yes, with a girl?? hell nah.

Oh, right, El didn't know. Will contained a laugh, he was purely sure that there was not girl, actually. But he doubted for a second, how did El came into that conclusion?

"Excuse me what?!" Mike defended himself, a grimace of disgust on his face.

"Well, you are acting so nice lately and u sometimes kick your feet and laugh like in the movies when a girl is in love with a boy! except that u aren't a girl.... aren't u, right? i mean just in case"

Okey, Mike was shocked, first, he didn't like girls, of course he isn't going to like being one. "No! of course I'm not a fucking girl, El" he rolled his eyes.

Will was just there, he smiled at the thought of Mike acting that way while thinking about him. He did it too

"Okey, Okey.... but you like one!" she turned to see Will, and he jumped back, she was so...happy?, oh boy. "Right, Will?? you have to know, u two probably spend the time talking about girls, it isn't fair! i want to talk about gir- whatever, u have to tell me who is she!"

Okey, Will didn't let that slide, he was suspicious about El, but right know wasn't the time to ask or doubt. Mike was kinda uncomfortable, and behind El's back, Will grabbed the other hand, giving him a flirty smile.

"El I don't think mike wants to talk about th-"

"Her name is...Will...Willaaaa, yes, her name is Willa. she's pretty and she has big hazel eyes and soft lips, and i really like hi- her, i really like her." he talked so confident that Will almost fell of laughing, there's no way El believed in that, right?

For some reason she did, Mike was blushing hard, Will was enjoying a little bit the situation.

"Oh my god! u meet her in the DND club?? like hellfire?? how is she, perhaps the hazel eyes you know."

"Damn u see more interested in her than me, girl, calm down. Uhmmm" he looked at will, trying not to be so obvious. "She kinda has a funny haircut, like a bowl....but i think h- she looks so pretty with that and uhmmm, i don't know!, but she's pretty!" He was so fucking embarrassed, but secretly holding Will's hand helped a little bit.

They both started at El, she looked like she was processing something. "Uhm, that's curious, i don't remember a girl like that in hellfire, but it's strange, that description sounds familiar to me...."

The pair frozen, and Mike let out a nervous laugh. "Oh, wait me a second, I'm gonna use the bathroom" she suddenly left, still smiling, but she seem pensive.

Mike finally could breath, and then Will burst out on laughs. "Willa?? hazel eyes and in hellfire?, i wonder if she's pretty, Mike" he softly teased, with a silly smile in his face.

"Yeah Yeah, laugh all you want, but i didn't want to bring someone else into this, and i don't have the heart to deny you " Okey, that was sweet, Will gently rubbed Mike's hand.

"I have such a cute boyfriend, a boyfriend that kick his feet like a silly teenager in a romcom" Mike rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling.

"Well, it's your fault for being this pretty and charming" He response.

Will remembered in that moment what happened before El arrived, and he blushed, he started at Mike's face, counting his freckles like the first time, imagining how his lips would taste time everytime, they always tasted the same, but for someone reason Will still shocked everytime Mike kisses him, it amazes him everytime. "I love you too"

Mike feared that Will could heard his heart beating fast, really, really fast. It was the first time they said " i love you" to the other, and it tested sweet in each others mouth, Mike would spend a whole day saying i love you to Will. "I want to kiss you so ba-"

Will interrupted him with a kiss, Mike grabbed Will by his cheeks, wanting to feel his touch and him near to him.

They stayed like that a while, but then Will suddenly remember that El was still in the house, she could return in any moment. He tried to break softly the kiss, but Mike keep pushing him back to him and his lips, Will giggled. "sweetheart we need to stop, El could return in any moment..."

Mike chased the kiss and his boyfriends lips "I don't care, she probably get distracted talking with nance or something...just keep kissing me, pleaseeee?"

Will smiled and rolled his eyes, he was helpless, and actually he want it to kiss mike. The two lovers keep kissing, so deep into their own word, softly and gentle touches, they were just two idiots in love.

but also just idiots, they didn't heard the door opened, it was too late when they realized, El was looking at them, her face was....hard to decipher.

Mike started to panicking, shit, shit, shit, he was so lost in Will's lips he didn't realize, he was in his room again, the night he realized he didn't like girls, crying and praying for it to go away.

Nobody was saying a thing, it was obvious that the girl saw them kissing and i was useless if them just push the other away and claim demency.

El closed and opened her mouth multipe times, she was trying to say something, but she was way to nervous, and happy, somehow. She didn't expect it, but when Mike started to describe the "girl" he liked, it was so obvious it was Will. "So you two....so Will- so Will is Willa?....does it means that Will's a girl?" but she was gonna tease them a little bit.

Mike face almost feel down in disbelief, was she serious?? "What the?! no! wills not a girl"

El contained a laugh "So he's Willa? why did u lie? does that mean you like Will?"

Mike was still panicking, Will notice it, and he grabbed his hands one more time, giving he a softly smile, they both knew they can't deny it anymore, not for her.

Mike took a deep breath, nervous. "Yes, i kinda lied, Will is not a girl but yeah, i like him, a lot, i was just scared I'm so sorry i hope u don't hate us after this" He rubbed his own arm, looking at the floor.

He never expected that this day will come to soon, but actually it felt so good saying it out loud, that he loved Will. —I mean yes it's kinds obvious know, you two were sucking each other faces so h-"

"Okey! we get it!, just stop" Mike said shyly, El was surprised of seeing Mike like that, but it was cute in a certain way.

"So... does that mean that u don't hate us?" Will speaked louder but with fear in his voice.

El sight softened, smilling at the couple. "Of course not, it was kinda obvious now that i think about it but.... it's okey!, I'm really glad that my brother and my best friend love each other, just don't kiss in front of me again, u really get lost into it" the pair laughed while they blushed, nodding with the head.

"C'mon!, El, you are gonna kiss a boy this way sometime!" Will said jokingly, but there was no reaction, then, he whispered softly "or with a girl...."

and then she blushed. "Shit" Mike whispered, smiling.

"Okey let's not talk about that!, i have to go, i already know what i wanted to know, just lock the door this time or Nancy could come in" She says as she walk to the door, Mike grabs her hand before she goes.

"Don't tell anyone, please? not yet" She looked at them, they looked scared, she sighed, and smiled towards them.

"Of course not! u aren't gonna say about me either, it's now our secret, like, i am wonder woman, you are superman and will is batman!" she says with excitement, and then she goes, closing the door.

Mike surely lock it this time. "That isn't fair i wanted to be batman...." Mike whispered and Wills laugh. "You could be Nightwing, you two are the same as dramatic you know" Will was a big fan of the batfam, whenever he talks about them, Mike would listen carefully.

"No! I'm okey with being superman, i can be yours" he flirted, doing a funny face.

"You want to be my superman? then I'm gonna be your night knight, only yours, Wheeler."

Mike face was like a tomato, and Will couldn't stop but laugh about it. "You are gonna kill me one of this days if u keep being this charming!" he dramatically says.

"I'm just wanna kill you with kisses and cuddles"

they shared a moment with laughs, kisses and gentle touches (not in a sexual way), they were cuddling know, Mike's hand playing with Will's hair, the room was in peace, the both of them were. "You know, Will....telling El about us, it feel so good, so damn right. I was scared, but with u by my side i feel like even if El rejected us, it wouldn't be that bad because i have you, but I'm glad she was so fine about it. It makes me think about our future...." he stopped, preparing himself for what was he about to say. "I really want to scream at the sky that i love you, that you are my boyfriend because you make me feel so lucky, Will, i don't want to hide forever."

The words almost make Will cry, he cuddle more with Mike, wanting to feel his warm and his love, his head has above Mike's chest, he could feel the other heart, it was beating fast, just as Will's. "You are the one that is gonna kill me one day with ur cham, i want that, i want to tell everyone too and grab your hand in public, telling those girls in school that we are dating, just as we did with El. We aren't gonna do that, my love, when we feel ready, we are gonna tell everyone, okey?

Mike placed a kiss in Will's head "Okay, my love, i feel the same way"

They share another moments of cuddling and sweet words between them, but suddenly, Will said something else "And i also think El could be a lesbian, like it's so obvious but i don't know if El knows there's is a word for that." Mike agreed, thinking about the times that it were so obvious.

"Probably she does, or she is gonna to find out, she's a smart girl. Hey, we are forming our little group of queer people!"

"And im glad is with you by my side, Mike."

Blushes and silly laughs, the world seemed so bright whenever these two were together, want it to last forever.

"I love you, Will Byers."

"And i love u too, Mike Wheeler." They laugh until they falled asleep in each others arms.

Okey, so, El was wrong, it was actually a person the one who stoled his best friends heart, but she's glad is her brother who did it, she was smiley.

"What happened kid? do you have facial paralysis?" Hopper, her fathers, asked her with sarcasm, she guessed.

"No, dad, im just happy" she ate a waffle while she talked

"About what?" he was kinda curious, and gossip too, just like his daughter.

"I can't tell u know, and i think will is gonna stay at the Wheelers house, by the way"

Hopper frowned but didn't asked more, his aura immediately changed when his daughter mentioned Mike Wheeler, oh he like demon. "All night??, damn no, what is he gonna do with the Wheeler kid after all" he crossed arms.

"Dad, it's okey, they are probably going to do some homework and stuff, is gonna be fine." It was obviously a lie, she knew it, the lovers would probably kiss all night, it was unfair, El wanted to kiss a pretty girl.

And that were the problem, El didn't liked boys, probably, and she needed to talk about it. "Actually, i need to tell u something"

Hopper worry a little bit, ready to listen to his daughter. "Im all ears, kid, but it's better not to be about Mike Wheeler"

She laughed and deny with her head, starting to speak.

a happy ending for the gays, a lesbian and well, not so a win for Hopper because he heard about Mike while he was eating waffles, damn it.

Mike and Will started to get a lot more obvious about their relationship without planning it. but it would be alright, as long as they were together, it was gonna be fine, they just wanted to love each othe the clingiest possible, yes, they were that type of couple.
