Work Text:

Natasha Trace, call sign Phoenix, was one of the most level-headed, articulate people you had ever met. Her quiet confidence and gentle compassion were what drew you to her in the first place. Her breathtaking beauty was a bonus. The way she looked at you, dark eyes full of wonder and love?

You'd do anything for her.

Your affections were returned, finding out that this incredible woman was a romantic at heart. She'd write you love notes, terrible poetry, pull you in for a kiss whenever she left or came home.

The men she flew with respected her-- and that respect and care was extended to you. Most Friday nights you were tucked into the corner of the bar with them, playing pool, drinking and joining in on the good-natured insults. They had quickly become your friends as well, your name and Natasha's often said in the same breath.

The incredible woman you called your girlfriend had one weakness. Just one, and it was one that you kept close to your chest. A weakness that you fully intended to exploit tonight. Your shared bedroom was luxurious, soft fabrics, plush carpet, gauzy curtains, an oasis for just the two of you.  Glancing at your watch, you grin, knowing that she would be on her way home soon. You make your way through the room lighting candles, humming softly to yourself.

‘On my way, I picked up dinner and some wine.’ Her text flashes across your phone screen and you can’t help but smile.

You wiggle out of your work clothes, rummaging in the chest of drawers for your ‘secret weapon’. The stockings were so soft as you carefully worked them up your legs. They matched your skin tone seamlessly, and you took your time making sure the seam ran up your calf perfectly. They stopped mid-thigh, lace capping the silky fabric, ribbon tying in a bow in the back. They made your legs look spectacular, and they were a pair Natasha hadn’t seen. You found a bra and panty set that coordinated well with the stockings. To complete the look, you pull on a simple white button up cotton dress shirt, buttoning a couple of buttons at your torso to show off the lace of the bra.

“Baby?” Natasha called.

“Bedroom!”

“I picked up Mexican I hope that’s…. oh baby.” Natasha stops in the doorway, a bundle of flowers clutched in her hand. “You look beautiful.”

You grin shyly at her. “Are those for me?”

Natasha crosses into the room, putting the flowers on the bed next to you. She drops to her knees in front of you, one hand sliding along your calf, fingers smoothing small circles watching as the sheer fabric moves under her touch. “You got these for me baby?”

You nod, the warmth of her fingertips raising goosebumps on your skin. She kisses your knee, hands gently parting your legs to get more access to the silky fabric. “Do, do you like them?”

“What did I do to deserve a woman like you?” Natasha’s lips brush against the lace, nipping at the soft flesh that spills over the band of the thigh highs. “I brought you flowers, and here you are wrapped up like a beautiful gift, just for me.” She sits back on her heels, slender fingers wrapping around your ankle, and gently placing your leg on her shoulder. She nuzzles her cheek against your calf with a soft sigh, eyes fluttering closed.

“I love you too.” You murmur, reaching out to push her hair out of her face. The dark strands are just as soft and silky as the fabric she’s mouthing. “Would you like to unwrap your present?”

“I would love nothing more.” Natasha smiles up at you.
