Chapter Text
"Honesty is such a lonely word...." Billy Joel
Robin lay on the yoga mat, trying to focus on the instructor's soothing voice, "inhale to the mantra 'so' ..."
So... what was she going to do about Strike? The Friday night yoga class was an effort to start the weekend off right with at least something to do that wasn't a date or a work meeting in the pub. Neither of these was what Robin wanted right now. The two dates she had managed with Murphy had not been unpleasant but it had been mutually agreed that there would not be a third. And work meetings were not happening given that Strike was still recovering at Lucy's after his recent injury.
"exhale to the mantra 'hum' " intoned the instructor as Robin's attention came back to the yoga mat.
Hum.....what was she supposed to do? She could confess to Strike and make everything awkward and tricky for their next cases. Or she could keep quiet and wait for the next supermodel-resembling girlfriend to float into view, bringing an inevitable repeat of the feelings aroused by Madeleine Courson-Miles.
