Work Text:

“Hey, Sayo-san, you’re an adult now, aren’t you?”

“...Huh?” Sayo raised a brow, lowering her guitar to focus on Ako.

“You’re 20 now! Doesn’t that mean you aren’t a teen anymore?”

“Does that change anything about our bond?”

Ako sighed, twirling a drumstick inbetween her fingers idly. “No, but I bet you haven’t even thought of doing any grown up stuff!”

“...And what would that ‘grownup’ stuff… be?” Now provoked, Sayo turned to face Ako with her entire body.

“...Like being cool .”

“What!? What?! I am co—”

“And what are you two talking about here?”

Both girls perked up at the cheery familiar voice, casting their gaze towards the entrance to the CiRCLE practice room.

“Lisa-nee!!” Ako immediately whined, rushing over to her and leaning in for a hug. “Sayo-san’s being lame!”

“Lame?!” Sayo spewed, furrowing her brows in defensiveness. “How dare you! I’m just 20 now! Why am I supposed to be different?!”

“Akoooo~! Don’t be so mean to her~” Lisa chuckled, putting a hand on Ako’s head and ruffling up her hair a little. “She has more important things to think about!”

“...Exactly.”

“...Like how to kiss me—”

ABSOLUTELY not.”

“Woah, aggressive.” Lisa smirked, doing a very very poor job covering it up with her hand. She looked and talked exactly like Hina… but that still somehow made Sayo blush anyway. Mostly of embarrassment, though.

“Lisa-nee, what’s going on? I thought Sayo-san already knew how to kiss girls—” Ako whispered to her loudly, as if Sayo wasn’t just sitting there across the room from them, glaring daggers at Ako.

“Mmmm~ I think that’s enough teasing my poor girl. How about you go take a break with the other two outside? Rinko was wondering what was taking you so long.”

“!!” Ako gasped, perking up. “You’re right!! Okay! See you later, then!” She cheerfully waved at the bassist as she ran out, leaving her and Sayo (‘extremely flustered and now a little tense’ edition) to be on their own in complete silence.

“Sooooo,” Lisa dragged the ‘o’ in a sing-song tone, approaching Sayo as the latter hastily occupied herself in tuning her guitar once again. “What was that about being a grown up now?”

“...” Sayo tried her best to keep her eyes down on her precious guitar, her shoulders tensing up a little. “I don’t know. But I am not lame for not knowing or being interested in any ‘grown up’ stuff.” When she did look at Lisa, her look was that of a pleading puppy.

“Awwww, c’mon. She was just joking with you! Don’t take it so hard.”

“...I’m not lame.” Sayo mumbled, sulking a bit in defeat.

“Mhm. Of course you aren’t. You’re the coolest guitarist and girlfriend I’ve ever had~”

Sayo sighed, a small smile spreading across her face. At least hearing that from Lisa restored some of her sense of dignity. “It is a little reassuring to hear that from you.”

“...Now, I really feel like you have something else you want to do.”

“...H-huh? N…no, I—” Sayo’s shoulders tensed up. She was doing such a poor job at hiding what she really wanted to say.

“Why’re you so tense? I just teased you once~♪” Lisa sat by Sayo, crossing one leg over the other. “What, are you that eager to kiss me~?”

“No—” Sayo cleared her throat, setting her guitar aside. It seemed like that embarrassment went aside along with it. “...Look, I was just stunned, okay?”

“Mhm. Sure.” Lisa leaned on Sayo, resting her head on her shoulder. “So what’s the deal?”

“I… just, um…” Sayo stuttered, looking aside as she held her hands clenched into fists in her lap nervously. “Well, since you’re here… I just… wanted to know if you’d… like to go out sometime, that’s… all.”

“Oooh~? You’re initiating? What’s the occasion~?”

“I-I just wanted to do something for you! Stop making it so embarrassing…”

“Sorry, sorry~” Lisa giggled, nuzzling her partner’s shoulder. “It’s just exciting, y’know?”

“I-I thought… maybe we could go out to a restaurant.”

“Woah! Fancy! Are you paying too~?”

“...That’s the plan.”

“Mmm~ Well, I’d kinda feel bad if you paid for me, though… sharing the bill is a loooot more romantic in my opinion~”

“You… you think so?”

“Mhm!” Lisa stood up, picking up her bass from its stand. “So have you thought of a place already?”

”Of course.” Sayo perked up, looking at Lisa with a small, awkward smile. “I… made sure to pick a place I thought you’d enjoy.”

“Awww~ You’re such a romantic~”

“W-well, I just—”

“...We’re back—” came Sayo’s oh-so-awaited escape from this embarrassment. Yukina walked in, accompanied by the other two band members. Finally, they could resume their practice.

[March 18th, 2023] (this is accurate to the way the night sky will be on that night.)

Sayo stood by Lisa’s house, leaning on her motorcycle idly as she fiddled around with the keys. She got a license not too recently and this motorcycle soon after, being acutely aware it would serve good use to both her and Hina. …Besides, it additionally meant that she could drive Lisa around on it. The idea of her sitting closely behind her, hugging her around her hips as she rested her head on her back as they rode into the sunset— Wait a second… not wearing a helmet is against the law. …Has she really been influencing me so much that even my fantasies are similar to hers with romance…? Goodness…

As Sayo tried to rid herself of her weird unlawful fantasies, she finally heard the door to Lisa’s house open. Her body perked up immediately and her gaze swiftly shot up to look at the girl now walking over to her.

“Hey! You got here early.” Lisa raised a brow, her smile widening as she stepped closer to Sayo.

“Naturally. Don’t worry about me, I don’t mind waiting.”

Lisa giggled at that, pulling Sayo into a gentle hug. Afterwards, she draped her arms over her partner’s shoulders and grinned up at her. “Well? Aren’t you going to give me a greeting kiss~?”

“H…huh? R-right here…?” Sayo nervously looked around. She didn’t mind Lisa’s teasing when they were on their own, but to be outside and be doing this… felt a little too much for Sayo. And Lisa did, for her part, notice her partner’s discomfort immediately.

“Hmm~ you don’t have to, silly.” She let go of her, now finally being able to take a closer look at her. “Well aren’t you fashionable today.”

“I-it’s a date, should I have not taken appropriate attire into consideration?”

“That’s not it, silly~ I’m calling you pretty!”

“...O-oh—” Sayo stuttered, looking away with a noticeable blush. She did decide to dress quite differently, wearing a pair of jeans paired up with a dark blue simple shirt and a black leather jacket above, since it was a little cold outside and riding a motorcycle in a weather like this without a jacket seemed like a bad idea— and of course, she had another jacket for Lisa in case she had forgotten to take one herself. And good thing she did. Wearing a dark shoulderless sweater paired with a white, quite tight skirt, she was definitely going to get cold. With how her hair was curled up to her side, Sayo felt a little bad making her wear a helmet.

“...Th-thank you. You… look quite beautiful yourself, Lisa. …But I’m going to ask you to wear a jacket. You’ll catch a cold.”

“Awww~ Well,” Lisa sighed, not at all opposing Sayo’s request despite sounding a bit sad.

Sayo took out both the helmet and the jacket, looking up at Lisa with a small smile. “Here.”

“Oh! I didn’t know you had such a cute jacket!! Gosh, you’re starting to develop a better sense of fashion thanks to me, huh~?”

“...I…I guess?” Sayo raised a slight question at the end of that sentence. She wasn’t sure why her cheeks were feeling hot at that, but Lisa seemed proud of herself for making Sayo blush again.

“Alright,” Lisa donned the jacket she was offered and took the helmet from Sayo’s hands, putting it on in a way that wouldn’t ruin her hair. Luckily, it wasn’t a full helmet. “Shall we?”

Sayo simply nodded and put on her (full) helmet, before getting onto her motorcycle and waiting for Lisa to rather excitedly hop on to it behind her. She then wrapped her arms around Sayo’s waist, popping her head on her shoulder.

“Is like this alright~?”

Sayo glanced at her for a moment, but very quickly averted her gaze with yet another soft blush. “...Yes.”

Going back to Sayo’s silly fantasy earlier, this wasn’t really that much different. They took a route clear of buildings, making the setting sun ever so more mesmerizing and breathtaking. With Lisa behind her, wrapping her arms around her hips as she was busy staring at the sunset, Sayo honestly couldn’t possibly ask for more than this. The only thing she did wish for was that this moment could last forever. But alas, arriving at the fancy restaurant Sayo picked for this occasion, they had to stop their fantastical moment. However, now it was time for a different romantic moment, no less important than the one before it.

“Woah…” Lisa took off her helmet, looking up at the extremely fancy building standing in front of her.

“What do you think?” Sayo took off her own helmet, shaking her head a bit to free her hair of the mess it tangled into.

“That’s… amazing! Wow…”

Sayo turned her motorcycle off and looked back at Lisa, a tender smile on her face. “I told you I made sure to pick a place I thought you would like. Did I do a good job at that?”

Lisa sighed dramatically and hopped off the motorcycle, waiting for Sayo to do the same before pulling her closer by her jacket to peck her cheek quickly.

“You did absolutely amazing.”

“Ah—” Sayo nearly squeaked, not at all ready for such a bold display of public affection. “...Y-yeah.”

To see Sayo so worked up from the slightest gestures of affection, Lisa just found it way too cute.

They packed the jackets in the storage, along with Lisa’s helmet.

They had no problem getting in, luckily arriving just in time for Sayo’s reservation. With it being dusk now, the atmosphere was very much romantic, just like Sayo had planned for it to be. As candles lit the middle of the table and the dim lighting from above made it easy enough to see one another, it was just what Sayo had anticipated. It’s a little hard to mess up a plan like this when your partner is such a [hopeless] romantic. Not only that, but the area was also relatively quiet, giving them the ultimate chance at a great romantic date. Turns out overthinking a little is sometimes beneficial.

They looked through the menu together, Lisa very much insisting on ordering something she could potentially share with Sayo (that just means she didn’t order anything with carrots, though…). As for beverages… while Lisa was fine getting herself alcohol, Sayo was less comfortable with that. As for a starter, they got a big plate of garlic bread that Lisa very much insisted on sharing.

“So,” Lisa lightly brushed her finger across the table in small circles as she looked up at Sayo. “It’s been quite hectic lately, huh?”

“Quite, yes…

“Ahaha…” Lisa sighed, grabbing a slice of garlic bread as she leaned her chin on the palm of her other hand. “Well, we do get a little break this week! College isn’t getting any easier, though…”

“Doesn’t seem like it.” Sayo nodded, relaxing in her seat. To be fair, she had almost no clue what to talk about. She tried thinking of it before, but…

“...Um,” Lisa tried initiating herself, but god this was so awkward… Now that I think about it, I don’t know Sayo too personally…

As on Sayo’s side, however… This is bad. Of course Hina said to just be mature, which is why I chose such a place for a date, but…

“Ah! I know! Hey, Sayo~” Lisa’s mischievous smirk returned as she leaned more on the table. “Why don’t we go somewhere more… intimate later? Somewhere we could be alone. I miss those times we could just cuddle with each other quietly~”

Sayo glanced to her side, staring out the huge glass panels at the front of the restaurant. It overlooked the west, giving them a clear look of the night sky and the brightest stars of the various constellations.

“Lisa, do you want to stargaze with me?”

Lisa’s eyes widened in surprise. Out of all the possible responses she thought Sayo would go for, she didn’t exactly think about this one. Even so, seeing how lost in thought and calm Sayo was…

“Absolutely! Where, though?”

“I think the beach is not too far away, if you want to go there.”

“...The beach? At night?”

“It has a little less light pollution around… but I can probably think of another place if you don’t want to.”

“N-no, no, it’s fine. I haven’t really been to the beach this late, though.”

“Well… me either, to be fair… but now that we have transportation, it’s much easier to do whatever we want, no?”

Lisa chuckled at that phrasing, shaking her head in a sort of proud way. She was glad both her and Hina’s influence has been making her more laid back. It was extremely cute!

“Mhm! Well, I don’t mind at all.”

Soon after, their food finally arrived. It just felt so relaxing and enjoyable. While Lisa was very enthusiastic to talk about a lot of topics and looked so excited and extremely cute to Sayo, seeing Sayo so serious and outright just infodumping on things she cared about was absolutely adorable to Lisa.

“And so killer whales are absolutely abysmal. Outright evil, even—”

“Sayoooo~” Lisa slowly swirled the glass of wine in her hand, leaning on her elbow. “Your food’s gonna go cold if you don’t eat it, ya knoooow. You can tell me about why orcas are evil after you’ve eaten, okay?”

The look Sayo gave her. Oh that look was shooting right through Lisa’s heart. Her sad eyes, combined with the hopelessly sad frown she was giving to Lisa was just way too much for her. How could she possibly tell her to not continue rambling when she was giving her such a cute pleading face?

“C’mon… don’t give me that face… you know I can’t say no to you when you look at me like a puppy~”

Sayo’s shoulders immediately jerked up, her face turning red in realization. She didn’t seem to notice she was making that face at all.

“...H-huh? I…I’m not— I-I didn’t… mean to…” She looked away, rubbing her cheek awkwardly. “Sorry…”

“No, no~ It’s okay! You’re super cute, Sayo.”

Sayo pouted, bending over a little in a way of defeat. Why? Lisa wasn’t even sure.

“...You… think I’m… cute like this?”

“Well, I think you’re always cute, but seeing you all pouty and puppy-faced will never not be the most adorable thing ever!~♪”

Sayo rubbed her nape, her gaze slowly drifting away in what seemed to be embarrassment again. “You… think so?”

“Oh my gosh Sayo—” Lisa reached towards her, booping her nose to draw her attention back to her. “Are we seriously doing this? We’re dating, of course I think you’re adorable.”

Although her tone was cheeky and cheerful beforehand, now her voice was as tender as it could ever get. When Sayo looked back at her, her eyes were so understanding and calm… it instantly made Sayo’s mind relax with the sudden self-hate.

“...So, orcas?”

“O-oh, uh… no, I’ll continue it when we aren’t eating. I don’t think it’s a wise idea to do so while we do, so… thank you for stopping me.”

“...Just what do you know about orcas…?”

“Maaaaan that was good!” Lisa finally inhaled the fresh air in relief, stretching her arms after sitting in one place for so long. She turned to her side to look at Sayo with a cheeky grin, her cheeks having a bit of a reddish color to them. “Thank you for taking me here, Sayo.”

The way the lights around and behind Lisa lit her face, it only made her smile ever so prettier, if that was even possible. It was shining so brightly, so magnificently… with her red lips and absolutely stunning eyeliner… it almost felt like Sayo was in one of Lisa’s romance novels. She was mesmerized.

Of course, from Lisa’s perspective, Sayo just froze in place and stared at her wordlessly. She knew it was because she was absolutely in love, though.

“...Sayo,” She came closer, cupping Sayo’s cheeks. They were already near Sayo’s motorcycle, so Lisa didn’t mind stalling the continuation of their date. After all, she could absolutely see through Sayo. She was totally mesmerized.

“...Hm?”

“Is it okay if I kiss you?”

Sayo suddenly blinked. Ah. That snapped her out of it. Bummer. Is all Lisa could think of.

“…H-huh? Here? …What?”

“And here I thought I could get away with a little PDA while you were busy being sooooo in love with me…” Lisa sighed dramatically, squishing Sayo’s cheeks as she pouted mockingly.

With her cheeks squished, Sayo decided to just pout back at Lisa as her cheeks turned bright red.

“Don’t worry, I’m just joking. I wouldn’t kiss you in public without your permission, silly.”

“...N-no, that’s… alright with me.” Sayo mumbled once Lisa let go of her cheeks. She immediately looked away, as usual, but that didn’t hide her embarrassment at all. Well, it never really did, but Lisa enjoyed letting her think she was sneaky.

“How about we just wait until we get to the beach?”

“...Yeah. Yeah, that’d… be better. Thank you…”

“Mmmhm~” Lisa bumped her shoulder against Sayo’s, mainly as a reminder that they should already be going. She put on her jacket and helmet and sat on the back seat, waiting for Sayo to join her. At least with a helmet, Sayo could truly hide her embarrassment (lie).

The drive to the beach didn’t take as long as both of them assumed it would. Since it was a little colder now, Lisa hugged around Sayo even more. Oh, how truly blessed Sayo felt to experience this. Lisa’s arms felt so soft, so warm… the cold air that should have been felt significantly more biting was barely even bothering her. Crazy what love could do to a person.

The dazzling city lights shone behind them as they strayed farther away, and even before they reached the beach, it was a lot quieter than it usually was. It truly felt amazing. When they finally arrived at the beach, it felt extremely refreshing. The salty air filled the area and the wind was calm, and on top of that, there didn’t seem to be anyone else around at the moment.

“Wow…” Lisa murmured, taking her helmet off and turning to look at the calm ocean. “This is… amazing.”

The moon has long since set over the horizon, giving the constellation an opportunity to truly shine and sparkle in the darkness of the night sky.

“It truly is.” Sayo added. She got off and helped Lisa down, before finally taking off her own helmet. “Luckily, I did come prepared.” She smiled at her partner and opened the motorcycle’s storage. As Lisa watched her curiously, she pulled out a folded cover. “I hope you weren’t thinking we were going to just sit on the sand.”

“To be fair, I wouldn’t have minded too much if we did.” Lisa shook her head with a chuckle. She placed her helmet into the storage and waited for Sayo to join her after locking her vehicle. “Getting a bit of sand in my hair is absolutely worth it if that means I get to spend more quality time with my girlfriend~♪”

“Th…That’s really not… worth it… i-if you think of it logically…” Sayo spewed, looking away as her shoulders tensed a little. It was so cute to Lisa, though…

“But I don’t have to think logically for this, now, do I?” Lisa walked a little closer to Sayo, giving her a mischievously silly grin. “I’m just deeply in love with you.”

Sayo groaned quietly, forcing her shoulders down. “...M…Me… too.”

“Now,” Lisa stopped in her tracks, taking the cover from Sayo as she winked at her. “Let’s sit down, shall we~?”

“Mhm…”

They spread the cover and sat down, putting Sayo’s helmet on one corner to keep it from blowing in the wind, along with their footwear and bags. As Lisa laid down, she was finally able to look up at the sky. It was dark, but after just a little bit, she could already clearly see a few bright stars.

“Since our eyes were exposed to so much light for so long, it takes them a moment to adjust to this darkness.” Sayo began as she lied by Lisa, letting her snuggle closer and wrap herself around her arm.

“Oh, what’s this one?” Lisa pointed up at a flickering dot in the sky. It had a significantly red glow to it, and so Sayo was immediately able to identify it with ease.

“That’s Mars. At this time it’s the only planet visible to us,”

“That’s soooo cool though! I didn’t know it was this red!”

“It’s surprisingly similar to Earth, truthfully. Just smaller.”

“I seeeeee…” Lisa nodded.

“If you look a bit above…” Sayo gently took Lisa’s hand and pointed it a few degrees up from Mars, pointing at a pair of bright blue stars. “Those are Castor and Pollux.”

“...Ah! That’s… Gemini, right?”

“Indeed. Do you remember what it looks like?”

“How can I forget when I have both of you and Hina around me all the time? You’re gonna turn me into a star nerd like you if you keep up at it~”

Lisa really could see the entire constellation. It truly is marvelous when you know where to look.

“If you look a little to the right and down…” Sayo dragged her finger down across the sky to her right, “You can see the Pleiades. It’s a star cluster—”

“Yep, you’ve told me about it before.”

“...Have I?”

“Mmmmhm.” Lisa hummed, cuddling closer to Sayo and closing her eyes. “Though, I don’t mind you infodumping again. It’s always fun to hear you get excited about something like this. Your voice even gets a little squeakier when you do! It’s super cute~”

“...N-now you’re just exaggerating…” Sayo sighed, looking up at the sky. She could vaguely see Praesepe, an open cluster in the constellation of Cancer. (Fun fact: it’s called the beehive cluster.). So many of the brightest stars were in front of them it was honestly amazing. Sirius, Procyon, Betelgeuse, Rigel, Capella, Aldebaran… all of those stars right in front of the couple. Sayo was glad they came here for this.

Honestly, this might be better than the restaurant. Just cuddling with Sayo is always so relaxing… she’s just so soft… Lisa nuzzled Sayo’s shoulder, sliding her hand down to intertwine it with her partner’s. The sound of the waves was really the only thing other than the two of them.

“Sayo,” Lisa whispered after a long while of silence, looking up at her partner’s face. But Sayo was lost in the sea of stars, completely spaced out.

Lisa huffed, dragging herself up. “Sayoooo~” She pecked her cheek, very quickly snapping her back to reality.

“H-huh? Hm? Did…Did I… space out…?”

“You sure did. You really like the night sky, huh?”

“...Yes. I’m sorry, um…”

“Hmmm.” A grin slowly crept its way on Lisa’s face. She pushed herself up, and Sayo confusingly, yet quite curiously, watched as she sat on her lap and leaned down above her.

“Why not get a little more romantic, since this is part of our date?”

“...Huh?”

“Hm? Is something wrong?” Lisa murmured, brushing Sayo’s bangs away from her eyes.

“W-well, I— I uh… I—” Sayo stuttered, her eyes avoiding Lisa’s at all cost in pure panic.

“You’re always so silly, you know? I just want to kiss you~♪”

“Th-th-th-then why are you sitting on me?!” Sayo spewed, only looking up into Lisa’s eyes once she cupped her cheek to keep her in place. It was so red she thought she was about to explode.

“Mmmm, well, why not? I mean, I can get off of you if you want.” Lisa tilted her head slightly. Sayo knew she was genuine, she knew Lisa would never try to do anything that Sayo wasn’t comfortable with… but to say she wanted her to continue sitting on her felt like the most embarrassing thing she could ever say.

“...No,” Sayo mumbled, her eyes once again drifting away from Lisa’s. “...You can stay.”

“Oooh~? I caaaan~?” Lisa murmured, poking at Sayo’s forehead teasingly.

“Y-yes! You can! S…stop teasing me…”

“Sorry, sorry~ Couldn’t help myself. So, can I… kiss you?”

Sayo slowly looked up at her partner with a softer look, clearly doing her best even just to make eye contact. “...Yes.”

Lisa rubbed her cheek, leaning down until their lips met. The latter closed her eyes, easing into it as she finally let her body relax. It felt so soft, and Lisa’s lipstick tasted like cherries, too. She wrapped her arms around her neck, letting her deepen the kiss… but—

“A-ah, wait, no,” Lisa pushed herself up in a rush, her face flushed red. “I don’t think making out on the beach like this is a good idea, ahaha…”

Sayo tilted her head, a little disoriented by the heat of the moment they had. “...Huh?”

Lisa sighed loudly, smacking Sayo’s forehead gently and getting off of her to sit by her side as Sayo got up while rubbing her forehead in confusion. “Dummy.”

“Wh-what? But… I just— Huh?”

“Sayo, you’re really clueless, huh…”

“But… it was just a kiss…”

Sayo looked up at Lisa worryingly. She was looking at her like a puppy again, too…

“...You want another one, huh?”

“...” Sayo looked away, fixing her bangs in place and clearing her throat with a quiet cough into her clenched fist. “...If you’re offering,”

“Of course. Just don’t French kiss me this time, okay~?♪”

“I-I wasn’t trying to!” Sayo pouted, scoffing at her partner as she giggled at her embarrassment.

“Mhm! Now come here ,”

The shift in Lisa’s tone nearly startled Sayo. She went from her regular cheery voice to a deep, almost husky one. Being frozen in place, Lisa was simply able to slide closer to Sayo. She lifted her chin up a little and smirked down at her, before slowly and tenderly pulling her into another kiss. When she leaned back away from Sayo, it seemed like she was still too stunned from her amazing performance of using a deeper voice.

“...Did I break you? Oopsie~” Lisa stuck her tongue out, winking at Sayo as she went back to her usual self. “Kaoru taught me how to be charming like this. Did I nail that?”

Mouth agape, Sayo blinked at Lisa silently. She looked at her as if she fell directly from the sky. She just couldn’t believe the bizarre sequence of events that just unfolded in front of her eyes.

“Awwww… come on, I did my best!”

“...” Sayo planned to respond, but instead, she ended up just letting out a quiet squeak of surprise.

They stayed at the beach for another hour watching the stars quietly after Lisa’s successful flirtatious experiment. The stars at least calmed Sayo down after it. She talked about them some of that time, explaining her method of finding constellations using others and remembering their relative location, along with what her favorite stars were. Lisa could truly say this date went fantastically. When they arrived by Lisa’s house, it was already around 10:40PM.

“Thanks for all of this today, Sayo.” Lisa gave Sayo a warm hug, nuzzling her partner’s chest. “We should definitely go out like this again. Maybe even just to stargaze! That was so amazing!” Her giggles were just like music to Sayo’s ears. She nodded, smiling through her helmet.

“Of course. Thank you, as well.”

“Hmm~, am I not gonna get a goodbye kiss from you tonight~?” Lisa wiggled her brows, covering her :3 face (extremely poorly) (absolutely intentionally) and leaning closer to Sayo.

“...H-huh? Oh, uh.” Sayo clumsily took off her helmet, her hair getting extremely messy in her rush to get it off. “Y…yeah,”

Lisa pushed her head up, closing her eyes in anticipation as Sayo held onto her shoulders. After she very very softly and carefully pressed her lips to Lisa’s, Lisa quickly returned it and bounced backwards, almost frantically waving at Sayo as she jogged to her front door.

“Well!! See ya tomorrow!~☆”

Sayo didn’t even have enough time to process the fact Lisa had left by the time she heard the door shut. When she finally snapped out of it, she shook her head and rubbed her nape awkwardly.

She sounded so embarrassed all of a sudden… I wonder what that was about. …Oh well.

She could ask her tomorrow, after all. And with that, her date was complete and over.

She felt her lips, a small smile spreading across her face.

Her lipstick is very nice.

Notes:

Editing this was extremely fun because i was in a voice call with my editor and going UEEUEUEUEUEUE every time she found a mistake until my parents told me to shut up.
