you and hongjoong were just getting home after a night of driving around without any particular end destination to different parks near your shared apartment to see the scenery and be together in nature.
you two also grabbed some intriguing street food for dinner while out and adventuring. it'd been surprisingly tasty, to you and hongjoong's delight.
it was 2 hours to midnight. you'd set off later into the evening so it was expected to come home late. you two were now tired, albeit having had fun being able to just bask in your lover's presence and fresh air for once.
"that was a good time," hongjoong released a sigh as he flopped himself down on your shared bed, you copying his action a few minutes after. "it was, hopefully we'll get to do this more often."
as you lay in your boyfriend's embrace, you notice his eyes start to get heavy and you don't want him to fall asleep in his clothes and shoes, teeth still unbrushed and face unwashed.
"joong, hey, wake up. we can't go to bed yet," you stand above him, shaking him slightly. hongjoong responds by whining and weakly waving his hand at you, making you chuckle. "really, c'mon now. get undressed and then we're one step closer to being able to relax."
"you're here, I'm already relaxed.." hongjoong trails off, pulling you closer down to him. you smile at his adorable sleepiness, pressing a chaste kiss to his cheek before you continue to try to get him up to prepare for bed, and you finally succeed after adding a few more kisses into your encouragement.
when you both are back in bed and each other's arms, you continue to lovingly press soft pecks all over his face. you fall asleep with hongjoong's face buried in your neck, your arms around his shoulders, his arms around your waist and both of your legs tangled together.
you both fall asleep at peace.
