Stop Dance

Summary:

Aemond looked confused, then sneered, "Do you want to train too? I'm sure as strong as you are, you can easily defeat me."

"Oh no," Lucerys then fakes a laugh. "As you can see, my body is not as strong to be able to break bones." He then winks at Aemond and walks away while singing 'a pirates life for me.'

or

Lucerys choose violence that day and say fuck to canon.

Notes:

I try to be funny, but I don't think comedy is my forte.

English is hard.

Work Text:

Lucerys has already lived 2 lifetimes, and though he will always remember all of them, this current one is the most fun that he has. He's an actor playing his life because someone made a book about them. And what's funny is that he got all the details of his life, well, short life. Though he can't say if the next chapters are accurate because he dies young. But he wishes that the book was not accurate, because his family didn't deserve any of that. And his house didn't deserve to be ruined. And the show's ending is terrible.

In his first life, he was named Lucerys Velaryon the second son of the true Queen; he died early. In his second life, he was named Adam Young, he lived a quiet life as a son of two apple farmers; though some would call it adventurous because he managed to defeat the boss of the underworld and twist the truth so that he wouldn't be the son of the said leader and become normal again. His third and current life, his name is Elliot, and the actor playing his first life.

At first, he want to ask the author about everything, but he opted not to. For now, he's enjoying his life.

But a Targaryen will always be a Targaryen.

-

He exited his trailer for the shoot that he will take when suddenly the world spun and when he opens his eyes he was welcomed by the face of his brother Jace, they were on the ship going to King's Landing for the trial of his legitimacy. He screams, cursing at the gods. His mother stayed by his side that whole day, worried that he'd gone mad.

Scene per scene happened the same, though when they went to the courtyard and people are looking at him, instead of being worried he looked at them daring to say a word, or sometimes he just rolls his eyes.

When they watched the duel between Aemond and Cole, he was not as interested as before. He defeated the apocalypse in his second life, his godparents were Aziraphale and Crowley, he's not going to be amazed by men with their swords and dragons. And truthfully as he watched the world news in his third life, he was more afraid of nuclear bombs than his imminent death. He just wishes that after his death he will return to his life as Elliot.

His mind was wandering until he heard Aemond greeting them "Nephews."

Jace tries to get civil, but Luke is still bitter about his death, "Good fight, uncle." he greeted back and smiles widely.

Aemond looks confused at first then he sneered, "Do you want to train too? I'm sure as strong as you are, you can easily defeat me."

"Oh no," Lucerys then fakes a laugh "As you can see, my body is not as strong to be able to break bones." He then winks at Aemond and walks away while singing 'a pirates life for me'

Aemond stutters, Cole coughs, and his brother runs to be able to catch up to him. Luke enters the room where his mother and Daemon were, and greeted them as they enter.

"What was that?" Jace asks angrily, catching the attention of Rhaenyra and Daemon.

"What was what?" Their mother asks, looking at both boys.

"You cannot fight fire with fire brother, you'll both burn. Better douse them with seawater. Let them stay salty." Luke answers, then looked at Rhaenyra "Ill go to the kitchens to fetch some cake." then exited the room as Jace tells them what happened.

-

When Vaemond was saying his argument, Luke raises his hand, his brother try to get it down but Luke went to the center, and speak rather loudly.

"As the one being accused, can I say something? It's not really long. Just one question, and probably more, and then Lord Vaemond can go back to insulting my mother, the heir to the iron throne, which can be considered treason, but here we are. Right?" Luke looked at the crowd grinning, then looked at Otto and smiled darkly, "Right?"

Everyone was looking at Luke, and he relishes the spotlight. He doesn't have any more fear anymore, the experience of all of his life has thought him so much. At that moment he's the Lucerys who died at the tender age of 13 when he specifically told Aemond that he's not going to fight, he's Adam Young the bringer of Armageddon and the stopper of the Apocalypse, and he's also Elliot the actor, the one who was able to read everything that happened about his family in a book.

His mother tries to get him off the center, and Daemon was practically blocking him from everyone, but he stands his ground and waited for his grandfather to speak. "Say what's in your mind, Lucerys Velaryon"

Before he says anything, he looked at Rhaenys, then to some Baratheon Lords at the back. He stood up straight, but relaxes his body, "Are we forgetting what Lady Jocelyn Baratheon looks like? Or are we just that bitter that a woman is inheriting the throne that we're trying all we can to smear her name."

Luke then walks around, going to Otto and the greens "I mean, nice try, but whoever is doing the smearing campaign, I'm not pointing fingers, but that move makes them look desperate.", then he winks again at Aemond.

Some cough uncomfortably, and some ladies are giggling. Luke grins at them and they blushed.

He then walks to where the Baratheons are and made a motion with his hands, pointing at his face and then back to them. "I mean, don't get me wrong, Targaryen's looks are exquisite, though you're already going in the direction of the Habsburg family. But, that's not the point. I just think that it's unfair that we are forgetting the beauty of Lady Jocelyn."

Luke then went to his grandmother Rhaenys, then smiles widely, "Right grandma?"

But Luke knows the truth, but book canon is different from tv series canon, so why not play? In the books, there was no confirmation that they were truly bastards as Rhaenys's hair color in there is black. But they change that in the series and in here he knows that he's a bastard, but people don't need to know that. And he likes that way they all look guilty.

Vaemond did not die that day but was put to trial for treason, for speaking ill to the heir to the throne.

Luke smiles, but he doesn't see Aemond looking at him.

-

Aemond is looking at Luke the way he's supposed to look at Daemon in the TV series when Daemon killed Vaemond. But as Luke changes things, he changes not only what's happening, but also the emotions of people.

-

The dinner still happened, though this time Luke didn't pay attention to the pig, and before his brother could ask Helaena to dance, Luke asks first, then he asks Rhaena too. It was a fun night, lots of dancing, and gossiping that surprisingly Helaena and Rhaena got along with.

He was almost in bliss, away from where he was when there was a loud noise coming from the table. Helaena jolts and Rhaena immediately put her in her back, almost protecting her.

It was Jace and Aemond, standing up and glaring at each other. Apparently, even without him, this scene will still happen. Luke coughs loudly to get the attention of everyone, he felt Helaena's hands on his arms as she whispers something, but he wasn't able to get everything, only the words stop the dance.

When everyone is looking at him, "Are you two going to kiss?" He asks, pointing at the closeness of the two. "I mean love is love. Or are you trying to see who's taller?"

Daemon laughs, but Aemond looks at him and raises his glass, "I'm just simply raising a toast, for Jace, Joffrey, and you. My sweet, strong, nephews."

Jace was about to attack but Luke laughs, he goes to the table and gets his glass, "Hear, hear! Thank you, uncle! But you know if you're going to describe us, I wouldn't use the word, strong."

Luke looks at Aemond who's looking at him weirdly, "I mean, I understand the reference, even though we've already debunked the case. But if you're going to insult us, be clever with it. You kept calling us Strong, but do we even resemble him? My brother's height is already proof that your accusation is not true. But hear me out, hear me out."

Luke then drains his cup and loudly smacks it to the table, "If and only if, because you know, my mother is a faithful wife. And I don't like that you're insinuating that my father is a fool. But if she did have an affair, shouldn't you be pointing elsewhere? Because look at this," Luke went to where Cole is and pointed at him, then back to where his brother is. There was a loud gasp at the table and he can see the sudden change in Cole's aura.

"Right?!" Luke fakely exclaims.

Daemon is laughing loudly and smacking the table.

"We know that you're faithful at your service, Sir Cole. No worries." Luke patted Cole's chest, who was looking at Rhaenyra. "But you know, the kingsguard can have sex, just don't get married, so it's not really a sin." Luke then winked at Cole, who looked at the floor.

"So uncle, what are we drinking for?" Luke grins as he pours another cup for Aemond who apparently is blushing at him.

But Luke doesn't care, tonight his grandfather is going to die, and the start of the dance is happening, then he'll die, then his family will too. "How about a toast, for our family's unification? Our family's strong tie to dragon's blood. Or, or! A Toast! To our incestuous love!"

He drank and drank until the world is spinning. He almost falls down, but someone catches him. It was his uncle. He looks at flowy white hair which he patted, "Beautiful. You know uncle, if we are going to look at our tradition and modernize it, we're already married since the day I cut your eye and you broke my nose. Blood for blood."

"Nephew." Aemond growls. The hands that catch him tighten, and he can almost feel the rapid heartbeat of his uncle.

"You like that don't you?" Luke smirks but passed out right after.

Daemon's laughter is the last thing that he heard.

-

When the morning come, Luke got confused, because he was supposed to be at dragonstone, receiving the letter that Aegon was crowned. But this time he was greeted by frantic maids asking him to wash up because his grandfather is asking for him.

"What?" Luke asks as he enters his grandfather's room. He looks around and sees everyone is already there. Alicent and Rhaenyra are hugging and crying, which confuses Luke. Daemon tugs his arm and placed him near the bed, Aemond was on another side looking at him.

"The promised princes are here." His grandfather gasps. "A song was weaved for the future of our house." Then reached out for both Aemond and Lucerys, "The song of ice." He squeezed Lucerys hands. "And fire." Then Aemond's.

Then he dies. A loud cry emerges, and Aemond was looking at Luke with open wonder.

But Luke is confused and angry, this didn't happen in his life, nor was it in the books. And isn't Jon Snow the prince that was promised? What can he do? And how can he kill the night king? With dragons and Valyrian steel?

"What the fuck?!" Then Luke gasps. With Dragons, which they have, and Valyrian Steel, which they also have. Luke ran out of the room and into the open courtyard and screams at the sky "Fuck you! I'm not going to fix the mistakes of game of thrones!"

Notes:

Ps. Adam Young is one of the main characters in Good Omens~

Additional scene that I didn't put:
Luke going to Aemond then to Alicent, “I mean if we're going to talk about cheating and bastards, we can talk about how uncle Aemond looks more like Daemon than his father.”

Thank you for reading!
