Ever since the Hitachi twins met Tamaki, everything changed. They were happy and felt welcome but it hurt no one knew who they were. But things had to let go.
Until fate brought them together
His first love, his only. Haruhi.
Hikaru was not an academic person but he had to thank studying since Haruhi thought the host club was an empty music room to study.
At first, the twins thought it was a boy with that they shared some classes who can't buy himself a uniform, but they were proven wrong so many times.
Not only the commoner was a girl, but the greatest girl they'd ever known, her presence brought everyone to feel loved, she changed everyone for the better, she understood everyone.
She never pushed anyone cause so.
She showed kindness to everyone by doing anything and Hikaru fell for her
Since she had everything he wanted
He wanted someone to know him, someone who made him laugh and belong. And Haruhi did more
Hikaru would get jealous of any guy who loved her, not wanting to give her away but he was not stupid to know he was just a friend.

Tamaki was in love with Haruhi first, and he was charming enough to charm his way to her heart.
Although it pained him, Hikaru had to give up. He can't have her ever, Haruhi can't have him
He was all hers, like an injured bird in his palms,
Haruhi went to Tamaki's plans and left Hikaru feathers he would treasure forever till he moved on
