A way too high sound for Chloe Price was ringing is her room. She got out of her bed to go smash her alarm clock to shut it off, before stretching to wake her still sleepy body. Even though today was a Saturday, Chloe had decided to wake up early because she needed to get groceries, and she preferred to go early in the morning so she could spend the rest of the day with her two amazing girlfriends and littles Max and Kate.
Chloe got out of her room and went to the opposite door, on which was written Nursery in pastel colors. She delicately opened the door and went into the room, that was a total contrast with her own room. Instead of Punk posters and red and black colors, there was drawings and colorings displayed on beige walls. Chloe went into the back of the room, where was a big white crib where her two girlfriends were sleeping. When Chloe arrived at the bed, Kate turned around to face her and shot her a big smile. Chloe whispered to her girlfriend “Good morning, little bunny”, before bending over to Max and shaking her slightly while murmuring “Time to wake up princess”.
A small groan from Max showed Chloe that she was awake, and she then went to the window to open the shutter, making the room bath in the faint light of an autumnal morning. With the light, Chloe realized she forgot to tidy the nursery with her girlfriends yesterday after they had finished their tea party. Taking note to clean later before she went for the groceries, she walked back to the bed to help her two Littles to get out of bed so they could eat their breakfast. She lowered the barrier then helped Kate and Max to get out of bed. She noticed that both girls had kept their plushies, meaning they were pretty young this morning.
Chloe took a hand of both her girlfriends and took them to the kitchen so she could prepare the breakfast. Max and Kate sat side by side, from the side where they could watch Chloe making their meals, deposing their plushies on the edge of the table. Their caregiver asked them: “So, what do you wanna eat this morning?”
Max immediately answered: “I want chocolate milk!”, and Kate approved what Max was saying with a nod and a big smile.
“Sure, but if I make chocolate milk this morning, I won’t make some for your afternoon snack. I don’t want you to get a tummy ache.” Chloe responded with a smile. She knew this tactic always worked.
“Awwww…” Max replied while pouting. “Perhaps we could have compote instead?” she asked while looking at Chloe then Kate. The latter simply answered with a smile; she tended to be non-verbal when she was in her Littlespace. Chloe, who understood well her girlfriend’s facial expressions, responded “Sure”, then took two plastic bowl and spoons from a drawer, and opened the fridge to get a jar of apple and banana compote. It was Kate’s favorite, and from the moment she knew it Max always insisted to only take this one. Chloe then went to take two sippy cups before reopening the fridge and asking: “What do you wanna drink, sweeties?”. Chloe only used this nickname when both girls where in young headspace, but she found it to be extremely cute.
Max looked towards Kate, to know if she preferred a certain drink, and at the same time Kate turned around to face Max to ask her the same question. The complicity of the moment was so pure that Chloe had to hold back an “Awwww”. After some moments of each girl waiting for each other’s response, Kate signed “Orange juice?”. Max approved with a nod, and Chloe filled both cups with orange juice. She put the drinks on the table, then started to fill the bowls with the compote. After both bowls had enough compote in them, Chloe went to take two bibs so the girls wouldn’t make a mess while eating. She gently attached a bib on both girls, then asked Kate if she needed help to eat since she noticed she seemed younger than Max this morning. Kate said yes with a nod, and Chloe started feeding her. After Kate had finished eating, Chloe said to her: “Who’s my messy little girl? Yes you are, yes you are!” while cleaning her face, which made Kate giggle. The laugh sounded like a perfect melody for both Max and Chloe, who couldn’t help but smile along Kate.
After cleaning the table and eating a quick snack, Chloe took both girls to the bathroom so they could brush their teeth and go to the toilet. After they had finished, she took them to the Nursery so she could help them get dressed. When the three girlfriends got into the Nursery, Chloe asked her littles: “Can I undress you or do you prefer to do it by yourself?”. When both girls sat on the bed, Chloe understood she had two little girls to dress up this morning, not that she minded: she always loved taking care of her girlfriends. She undressed Max then Kate, until both girls were only in a bra and a diaper. Even though their diapers were clean, Chloe untapped and threw them off, as the three of them had agreed to change them often even when they weren’t used, for hygiene issues. Their caregiver then asked her little girls: “Do you prefer panties or diapers for today?”. Kate answered by signing “A diaper”, et Max exclaimed “Me too!” some seconds later.
The girls didn’t need diapers, but they found it comfy and it helped them stay in their Littlespace, so Chloe always took care to have some for days like this one. She went to get two diapers and changes necessities from a drawer of the grand white wardrobe not far from the bed. Chloe then came back to her little girls and placed the changing mat on the bed. Max went on it first, and Chloe started changing her, sliding the diaper underneath her girlfriend, adding the perfect quantity of powder and wiping her girlfriend’s crotch carefully to clean it. When the change was done, Chloe kissed Max’s forehead who said “Thank you Mama!” before hugging her, making Chloe’s heart melt. This nickname was very special to Chloe, as when her girlfriends revealed to her their little side, she swore to always be a good and present mama for them, unlike her own parents. Chloe then changed Kate the same way, who signed to her “Thank you Mama” then did a heart with her hands. Chloe’s heart melted a second time in this moment, and after cleaning and putting away the mat she took both her girlfriends in her arms. The two littles melted in Chloe’s embrace, et the three lovers stayed this way for some moment, enjoying each other’s presence.
When Chloe ceased the hug, she said to the girls: “Wanna come chose your clothes for today?”. Max and Kate got out of the bed and each took one of Chloe’s hands. They followed her to the wardrobe, and after Chloe had opened it Kate quickly chose a beige hoodie with a blue bunny printed on it and a white legging, and some time after Max opted for a beige overall with a mushroom drawing and a long-sleeved white t-shirt. Chloe helped both of them to dress up, especially Max who struggled with her overall’s suspenders.
Once the work was done, Chloe admired her girlfriends she found very cute. She then said to them: “You’re way too adorable today for me to not take a picture. I’m gonna get the polaroid.” Chloe went out of the room then came back some moments later with the camera in her hands. She placed herself in front of her girlfriends and told them to strike a pose. Kate then signed to Chloe to come with them, and when she looked towards Max, Chloe saw her doing puppy eyes that she could not resist. So even if she was still in her night clothes, she went behind Max and Kate and struck a pose while taking the selfie, with Max doing a peace sign with her hand and Kate arboring a big smile towards the camera.
After the photo was printed, Chloe took it and put it on the cabinet towards the entrance of the nursery. She then went back to the girls and told them: “Mama is going to get ready in her room. If you need me knock on the door okay? You can play here or I can turn on the TV in the living room if you want.” Max then asked while looking towards Kate: “Do you mind if we go to the living room to play Katie? I wanna play the Switch.” Max once again arbored her puppy eyes, and even if Kate did mind, she couldn’t say no. Kate replied by signing “I don’t mind” to Max, and the brunette shouted “Yeah! Thank you Katie!” while hugging her.
“Take all the stuff you want to the living room now so we can avoid doing lots of goings and comings.” said Chloe. Kate then went to the bed, taking her pacifier and her plushie; then she went to the table to take a coloring book and her coloring crayons. But she realized she couldn’t carry everything, having her hands full with just the pacifier, her plushie and her crayons. Chloe saw it and she went towards Kate to help her. “Hey, want me to take anything bunny?”. Kate gave Chloe her crayons and took the book. But when she took it in her hand, she dropped her pacifier on the carpet. Chloe took it and told her “I’m going to take something to clip it, so you won’t need to worry about holding it okay?” Kate nodded, and some moments later Chloe came back with a clip she attached to Kate’s pacifier and hoodie.
During this time, Max took her blanket and watching Kate she decided to also take her girlfriend’s one. After Chloe helped Kate, the three girls headed for the living room, Max and Kate both holding one of Chloe’s hands. When they arrived at the room, Chloe turned the television on and connected the Switch before giving a controller to Max, who during this time sat on the corner sofa. The caregiver said: “Don’t put the volume too high so it doesn’t bother Kate, okay princess?” Max nodded and Chloe gave her a kiss on her forehead, before doing the same to Kate who also sat on the sofa and had started coloring.
Max lowered the sound level, trying to make it low enough to not bother Kate but still high enough so she could hear it, then started the game she loved at the moment: New Pokémon Snap. Even in her Littlespace she was still a photography nerd, much to both Kate and Chloe’s enjoyment.
About 15 minutes later, when Chloe came back from her room, she found her two little girls exactly like when she left, except that Kate was now sucking on her pacifier. They both were very focused on what they were doing and they didn’t notice Chloe. The caregiver always loved watching her girlfriends when they were focused like this, she found them so adorable. She went to the sofa and called: “Girls?”. When she saw both of her girlfriends’ gaze on her, she continued: “Mama need to get some groceries. If you need me you can call me, I’ll be nearby okay?”. Max and Kate nodded in understanding, and Chloe said: “Play nice girls, I’ll be back quickly. Bye!!” She waved to her girlfriends before heading to the front door.
Chloe knew she could let her little girls alone for some times without problem, both girls were angels even when she wasn’t here. She got out of the house and locked the door before going to the supermarket that was down the street.
Before she continued playing, Max looked at Kate to see if she didn’t need anything. Her girlfriend was still coloring, now lying down on her stomach on the sofa. From where she was, Max couldn’t see what Kate was coloring, but she saw that her girlfriend was very focused, still sucking on her pacifier. Perhaps it was something she’ll ask Mama to put on the fridge? She was sure it beautiful anyway, because Kate’s drawings always were, especially for Max. She thought it was better to not bother her right now, so she continued playing.
Max resumed her game, continuing the level she was doing. She enjoyed the cute and catchy music and the beautiful environment while taking the best photo she could. Some minutes later, when she finished her level, Max heard her girlfriend shiver. Glad she thought about her blanket, Max took it and said to Kate: “Katie, I took your blanket so you won’t be cold.” while holding the item to her girlfriend. But instead of taking it, Kate shifted her position and put her head on Max’s lap. Max, smiling, gently deposed the blanket on her girlfriend. Kate signed to her “Thank you” and gave her a wide smile, which made Max’s heart melt. Max took her controller back, but before she could resume the game she felt her arm being shaken. She looked down on her girlfriend, who was handing her a drawing.
Max looked at the drawing: it was a Beautifly, one of Max’s favorite Pokémon, that Kate had colored, and there was also written “Max” next to a heart she drew. Max felt her eyes becoming a bit watery while a big smile was making its way across her face, with how cute this love demonstration was. She took Kate in her arms while whispering “Thank you Katie, I love it!” The two girls stayed like this for some time, simply enjoying the moment. Max then broke up the hug to place the drawing on the table, while saying to Kate: “I’ll ask Mama to put it on the fridge!”
Max then came back and sat next to Kate on the sofa. She noticed that her girlfriend had put her crayons in her case and was now looking at the screen, which was showing a summary of all the photos Max took during the trip. She handed the controller to Kate and asked: “Do you wanna look at the pictures?” Kate nodded and started to look at each photo in full screen, sometimes pointing out a Pokémon she found cute. Max looked at the photos alongside her girlfriend, commenting the name of the Pokémon Kate pointed and caressing her lover’s hair.
When Kate had looked to all pictures, the two littles looked at each other at the same time, exchanging a giggle. Max then had an idea. She asked Kate: “Katie, do you wanna play with me?”
“I’m not very good at games.” Kate answered by signing.
“Don’t worry, we can play an easy game so we both have fun. Plus, I know the perfect game for you, I’m sure you will love it.” explained Max to reassure her girlfriend.
Against Max’s puppy eyes, Kate could not say “no”. She signed “okay”, and Max shouted “Yeah! I’m gonna plug the other console so we can play together Katie.”
After saving her progression, Max got up and went to plug the Wii U to the television. She then turned the console on and took two controllers. She came back and sat on the sofa next to Kate, before handing her one of the controllers. When the console had started, Max selected the game Yoshi’s Wooly World.
When Kate saw the graphics of the game, she smiled: it was exactly the kind of aesthetic she liked. Her girlfriends bought a game just for her, that perfectly matched her likings, and it made her heart flutter. She hugged Max by the side, and her girlfriend returned the hug and kissed her forehead. Kate then put her head on Max’s shoulder, and they started playing.
They started a new save file, and after the introduction cinematic, which made Kate upset with how Kamek was mean and how the Yoshis didn’t deserve what happened, they headed to the first level. Max explained to Kate the game’s controls, and to Kate’s surprise she did pretty good, even if she was slower than Max. But a little further in the level, Kate felt off the stage. Seeing her saddened look, Max said to Kate: “Don’t worry, it happens to everyone. And if you feel that the game’s too hard I’m here to help you, okay?”. In front of Max’s smile, Kate’s sadness evaporated. She then continued the game with Max who made sure she was doing good and had fun.
About half an hour later, when Chloe came back from her groceries shopping, she found her two little girls sharing a blanket on the sofa and playing a videogame, each with a wide grin. They both looked so blissful and the scene was so cute that Chloe thought she had to take a picture, so she told Max and Kate: “Girls, Mama’s here! Don’t stop playing, I want to take a picture of you.”
Chloe went to take the Polaroid in the nursery and took a picture of her two girlfriends on the sofa playing a videogame, Max doing a cute pose and Kate smiling towards the objective. Once the photo was printed, Chloe took a look at it. The two girls were so beautiful and happy she couldn’t help but smile. When she looked at the picture, all her painful memories from a difficult past seemed to vanish and be replaced by hope for the future.
