And now here they were, as usual with Kalego staying to meet with him in the prep room. However, there was something slightly different today... Kalego had fallen asleep, on his chest. Balam, did not know how to respond. He could wake Kalego up, but it seems he had been needing a rest anyways. (not to mention what Kalego's face nuzzled into him was doing to his heart)
So, Balam did what any good friend would do for his sleep deprived friend. Let him rest there until he eventually woke up. It wouldn't be that hard, right? He had already been able to hide his urge to hold Kalego's handsome face the numerous times they had ended up in this position beforehand. It would be fine.
Except it wasn't, in times like these, where both of them were alone, he truly wanted to tell his companion just how much he craved for more each time Kalego had decided to stay back late. Or to even, hold his hand. He could never ask Kalego of this however, with his own insecurities and the fear of rejection and disgust looking his way.
Kalego had never been someone fond of touch, devi, it was even a miracle Kalego wanted to indulge in these few moments of bliss, just the two of them. Even if he were the only demon Kalego would allow such actions, he still could never, ask him to be his. Nono, Kalego deserved much better than him, that he knew. Kalego was likely to discover the truth one day, he was dense, but not stupid afterall.
He would hope by then things would somehow magically end up how his own heart, painfully longed for it to be.
