   “Donnie,” Leo whispers, looking up at him with those weary eyes. “I think something happened to splinter.” it's spoken so innocently, mockingly as if Leo was so deep in his denial that he couldn't look the horse in the face. It was all so surreal Don hardly paid attention to the fact he used their father's actual name for once.
