Work Text:
Tang Bo couldn’t help but smile seeing the state of the person holding him close to them, his worries hidden in the depth of his being.
“Don’t cry… Taoist hyung”
Said Tang Bo as he gently (barely) lifted up his hand to wipe the tears of the man.
“Don’t smile you idiot!”
The man in the white uniform stained with blood gritted his teeth.
Tang Bo chuckles.
“Hold on!”
This man, the famous (infamous) Plum Blossom Sword Saint was usually a figure who doesn’t think and do what he wants to do. He was tall, imposing, hotheaded, and charming. Yet, he appears more vulnerable than ever right now.
Tang Bo felt a pang in his chest, for he was the one causing this. He never wanted to see such an expression on his face. At the same time, he was happy at the thought of his dear hyung was worried for him because he cares about him in the first place was making his skewered heart beat faster. He felt giddy, this is also one of the reasons he couldn’t help but laugh.
Tang Bo felt himself becoming weaker each second.
In his vision, everything was blurry. It was hard for him to simply breathe.
Tang Bo used all of his strength and opened his eyes as wide as possible. He was sleepy, and Tang Bo knows, that if he gave in to that tempting rest, he will die for real.
‘Taoist hyung, Taoist hyung’
He seemed to be yelling something right now. He can tell that he’s not as calm as he looks when the arms holding him were tightening, and his heartbeat was so fast.
Tang Bo has many things he wants to say to his Taoist hyung. He wants to pour out everything he had hidden in his heart for a long time.
-Tang Bo has a feeling that this might be the last time he saw him. This is his last chance.
But…
What if his confession causes his hyung to blame himself?
“Taoist hyung,... I-”
But, this is the last time… Tang Bo chose that even though he knows that it would cause his hyung to be hurt, Tang Bo decided to be selfish.
“DIE! ALL FOR THE HEAVENLY DEMON!”
One of the Magyo with barely recognizable and doesn’t look like a human with severe injuries all over them chose to attack the weakest link of their enemies.
-Tang Bo!
It was late for Chung Myung who was drowning in his emotions to defend Tang Bo.
In the end, Tang Bo rested for eternity, in the arms of the person he loves the most.
‘-love you’ was left unsaid.
