Darkness…
All that surrounds them was darkness. They don’t remember how long they have been in the darkness, but they have a feeling it was for a long time, longer than they could remember.
They know that it wasn’t always been like this, they know that they EXISTED before they had memories of just endless darkness.
They don’t know how. They just know. They wish they knew more but that was just wishful thinking. But somewhere they wondered did anyone remember them? Did someone… Anyone care what happened to them when they were plunged into the darkness?
They wouldn’t know of course. they were curious. But they wouldn’t know the answer they are stuck in the darkness after all.

Frisk was confused sans didn’t appear for a few resets now. They didn’t think about it a lot the first time, But when you asked about him… No one seemed to remember him, of course sometimes there were bits and pieces but... when has he ever been the royal scientist? Wasn’t he supposed to be the royal judge? And wasn’t Alphys the royal scientist? What happened the last couple resets for him to just disappear? For even his brother to forget?
*I have to get to the bottom of this… with that thought in mind Frisk went off to find someone else who could possibly remember the funny skeleton.
Flowey. Even if he doesn’t like him. You find him in the snowy forest. Where you were supposed to meet sans. Flowey seemed a little confused. After all, this has never happened before. “WHAT DID YOU DO?!” Flowey shouted as he sees your form in between the snowy trees. *You note that he doesn’t seem to be happy with this…Weirdly enough.
*You respond that you didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. Flowey seems to doubt that.
“Well then… HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!” he shouted. “IF YOU DIDN’T DO ANYTHING THAT MEANS THAT SMILEY TRASH BAG DID IT HIMSELF!” Flowey continued his thought.
*And what does that have to do with this? And why didn’t the reset fix it? You asked
“I DON’T KNOW! ALL THAT I KNOW IS THAT HE SOMEHOW ERASED HIS EXISTENCE!” Flowey responded angrily “THAT SMILEY TRASH BAG ISN’T EVEN IN THE FILES ANYMORE! Trust me. I did some poking around.” Flowey seemed even more upset than he did before. You could ask Alphys she seemed to know sans before… and papyrus didn’t know about that. He did hide a lot of things from his brother didn’t he… wonder what’s up with that.

They are still in the darkness; they feel themselves shift uncomfortably in the substance.
substance? Are they in a substance? Is the darkness a substance? They wouldn’t know.
All they know is they are trapped and that they can’t get out of wherever “Here” is.
They feel themselves giving up. What they are giving up on? They can’t remember.
The uneasy feeling is growing stronger now. They wonder if they can die. And how it feels.
They know they experienced death before. although they don’t remember the feeling of it.
They have a feeling it would be better than being trapped in this Darkness… er- Substance? ..Whatever they are in…
