Chapter Text
It was 2:15 in the morning. Your boyfriend Jonathan and you had gone to sleep about an hour ago. You were the type of person that, as soon as you were covered in the warmth of the sheets and comfortable in your bed, you immediatly drifted off to sleep.
You didn't usually wake up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason; but lately, it was like your sixth sense got activated a few minutes before Jonathan woke up from a nightmare, caused by the fear toxin his dad injected him with.
Now, it was from the same reason, but you were awaken by a gentle tapping on your shoulder. As you opened your eyes, you blinked a few times to adjust your vision to your surroundings. You turned around, and as you expected, you saw your boyfriend who seemed horrified. "Heyy, baby. Is it one of your nightmares again?" You asked him, slightly turning your head to your side. He nodded.
"It is. I-I'm sorry for waking you up, It's just that I keep having the same nightmares every night."
You sat and turned on the lamp that laid on your nightstand. The sudden change of lightning in your bedroom made you rub your eyes slowly. "Come here, baby." You said, opening wide your arms. He wrapped his long and cold arms around you and pressed his head against your chest, feeling comforted by your warmth and by the sound of your heartbeat. You placed your chin in his head.
"It's alright, I'm here with you." You cooed as you began gently stroking his soft, brunette hair. "Do you need me to make you a tea? It'll make you feel better, and besides you're cold." He released his grip and looked up at you. "I do. Can I go with you? I just...don't want to be alone."
"No need to ask. Let's go." And with that, you both left the bed and headed to the kitchen. In the kitchen, as you silently waited for the kettle to boil, he shyly wrapped his arms around your arm and placed his head in your shoulder. You then prepared a camomille tea for the two of you, and as soon as you finished preparing the teas both of you went back to your bedroom.
You covered once again with the sheets. He cuddled by your side and with your free arm you gently rubbed his back as you two took small sips from your teas. "Do you feel better, Jon?" You asked as you smiled at him.
"Yes...thank you for everything. I don't want to be a burden for you, love. If I didn't have you in my life, I'd be so lost. You're my one and only love of my life. Thank you so, so much for everything." He gave you a small smile, and his cheeks were red from blushing at the thought of all the good things you do for him and his well-being.
"You're not a burden to me! Why would you be? I do it for you because I care deeply for you. I would never let you be afraid by anything, neither would I ever leave you alone no matter what. I just want you to feel better...I love you, Jonathan."
All of your words were enough for his smile to grow bigger and his blush to intensify. He gave you a loving kiss in your lips and pressed his forehead against yours. You stood like that for a few good minutes and then he gave you another kiss, but now he placed a kiss on your head. "I think, if you feel better, we should go to sleep." You said looking at the time in your phone and yawning. "We should." He agreed, yawning as well. You turned off the lamp in your nightstand and you covered both of you in the sheets. He offered you his hand and you grabbed it as you placed your forehead against his again.
"Good night, (Y/N/N)." "Good night, Johnny."
You then went to sleep knowing that the love you two held for each other was surely going to be lifelasting, and that the two of you were inseparable.
