Laying down on his messy bed, Itto scrolled through the Ms. Hina fan page to see if what the man had said was true. So far there was no real concert evidence that Ms. Hina was going to put her tour on pause any time soon as the next appearance was going to be on some sort of cooking show. Apparently it was going to have Ms. Hina shows the viewers how to make some of her favorite dishes. One of which was going to be a bowl of ramen that she would make after the concert to help soothe her vocal chords. Just thinking of how delicious it would be made Itto consider buying the ingredients to make some for the boys. Granted Itto wasn’t much of a chef in the kitchen, he always made some delicious teriyaki bun sandwiches that the gang seemed to love.
“Seems like the lil’ doggy was barking up the wrong tree.” Itto remarked with a smirk. “Ms. Hina will still continue with her shows, and I’ll be there every step of the way to make sure that she will always have her number one fan by her side.” Itto continued, though the feeling of disappointment did start to sink in. Would it have been so bad if Itto got lucky enough to score a date with Ms. Hina? A low gang boss who wanted nothing more than to have a beautiful woman by his side who appreciated his gifts? Sure they were a bit strange, but Itto put his heart and soul into the gifts he gave. “It’s a shame. I would have given anything to show Ms. Hina a good time.” Itto finished, tossing his phone to the side as he laid on the bed with some Ms. Hina posters resting on the wall.
“Let’s see…” Itto muttered to himself as he brought his hand up to his chin in thought. “If I were to take Ms. Hina on a date, where would it be?” Itto mused to himself, wrecking his head in thought. “Maybe a hot spring? Nah, that’s too upfront and Ms. Hina is a classy lady.” Itto mumbled to himself, shaking his head a bit. “Besides, the co-ed ones are a bit expensive but secluded. I would never be able to afford it.” Itto was being more realistic as he moved to sit up on his bed. “Maybe we should go to a Genius Invokation tournament? I could show her my amazing skills.” Itto remarked to himself with a big grin on his face. “Though if that dude with the long pointy ears and bad jokes shows up, I might be in trouble.” Itto rambled to himself, crossing his arms and legs in thought.
“Hmmm…..” Itto hummed in thought, trying to figure out the best way that he could show off for Ms. Hina while making sure that she would have a good time. “Maybe bro Ayato could give me some ideas. He seems like he could plan out the most epic and cost effective date.” Itto gleamed, picking up his phone in order to get Ayato’s contact information. Seeing as how their last conversation was around the last festival that came through town, Ayato should be free for the next couple of days.
Arataki Itto:
Yoooo!!! Ayato my dude! How is it going man?!
Quick question: How would you plan a date with a beautiful girl like Ms. Hina without making it too expensive but letting her also get to know you?
Bro Ayato:
What’s this now?
Arataki Itto:
Just entertain me, if I were to get a chance to go on a date with Ms. Hina, how should I go about it? I mean, it may seem crazy and out there, but how would you go about it?
Bro Ayato:
Clearly….
But if you’re just saying that it is hypothetically, even though the odds of that happening is a million to one, why not take her out for a walk along the beach and roast some lavender melon?
Arataki Itto:
No way bro! Ms. Hina is too precious to simply take her out for a walk and eat lavender melons. Come on, I’m being serious bro!
Bro Ayato:
Well, if you’re being serious about this, why not take her out to a movie and a restaurant that isn’t too well known? You can always come by the teahouse. I’d even pay for your meals. Granted, this is only if you really are able to get someone like Ms. Hina to actually agree to come on a date with you.
Arataki Itto:
Ouch, what’s with the cold shoulder?
Bro Ayato:
Well, why would someone like Ms. Hina want to go on a date with you when they barely do more than just their normal performances? It’s only by the will of her manager that someone like Ms. Hina is able to do more than her usual concerts or any other form of media performance.
Arataki Itto:
Well, I did save her from getting kidnapped. So maybe I might be rewarded for my heroism and get a chance to score a date with Ms. Hina.
Bro Ayato:
You did what now? Rescued her?
Arataki Itto:
Yeah! It was great dude! There I was, standing in line from her latest concert here, and the lights went out. Before we knew it, some goons ran out of the line and rushed Ms. Hina! They were trying to kidnap her and that’s when I rushed after them! I was not about to let them kidnap her, not while I’m around.
So there she was, reaching her hand out towards me while I’m chasing them. It felt like everything was running in slow motion. When our hands reached each others, I yanked her free! It felt so surreal!
Bro Ayato:
……
And you’re sure you didn’t dream this all up?
Arataki Itto:
No way! I can still feel her small hands against mine. Her perfume still lingers in my nose. The softness of her hair felt great against my hand.
…..
Which is why I have to make sure that if I get a date with her, then I want to make sure that she enjoys it!
Bro Ayato:
In that case….
I could probably make some arrangements to get you some amusement park tickets or something. I got some free tickets for helping to coordinate the last firework display that they had. But anything else you’ll have to come up with the mora yourself.
Arataki Itto:
Seriously?! You’re a lifesaver bro!!
Bro Ayato:
But this is only for when you actually get the date with Ms. Hina. No using it for someone else. Understood?
Arataki Itto:
You’re the man bro Ayato!
Reading the last message, Itto couldn’t help but smile big. “Bro Ayato for the win! My man!” Itto beamed. Now all he needed to do is wait and see if perhaps the lil doggy dude would come in with his promise. Not only that, but Itto would need to figure out how he could make a decent amount of mora in order to have enough saved up for the date. It was only when Itto moved to get up off of the bed that another chime came from his phone. There was a big update on the fan site that caused Itto’s stomach to churn.
HINA WILL BE TAKING A BREAK FROM ALL PUBLIC APPEARANCES FOR THE NEXT WEEK! ANY CONCERTS WILL BE REFUNDED! WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THAT THIS HAS CAUSED AS MS. HINA WILL BE TAKING A BREAK DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT HAS NOT BEEN DISCLOSED YET!
“No way…” Itto mumbled in disbelief. Was he really able to go on a date with Ms. Hina? Did the little doggy dude hold up his end of the promise? Watching the comments pinging up from this news seemed to stir up the fans. Some people saying that Ms. Hina was in a state of shock to the point where she couldn’t perform from the attempted kidnapping. There were others who said that Ms. Hina was boycotting any more performances until there was better security for her. But Itto knew the truth, however who would believe him?
Arataki Itto:
You….seriously did it lil’ doggy dude?
Lil’ Doggy Dude:
I told you I would. However, there are some conditions in which you must agree to in order to go on your date with Ms. Hina.
And I told you! My name is Gorou!
Arataki Itto:
What are the conditions? I’ll make sure that Ms. Hina’s date will be perfect!!
Lil’ Gorou:
Well, for a week I’ll be grooming you to make sure that you’re able to handle going out with Ms. Hina. And when it comes time to the date, we’ll cover a major portion of the date. We just need to know what the location is and we’ll make arrangements for it so there won’t be a second kidnapping attempt. Does that sound alright to you?
Arataki Itto:
I actually got some tickets for the amusement park here. But um, how will you grooming me for a week help with my date with Ms. Hina?
Lil’ Gorou:
Well it’s to make sure that you won’t put Ms. Hina jeopardy. Just a cautionary thing.
Arataki Itto:
Well, alright. I’ll send you the location where we can meet up.
Does tomorrow sound good for practice?
Lil Gorou:
Sounds good to me. See you then.
After sending Gorou his location, Itto slumped back down on the bed. It felt like luck was finally on his side. Sure he’ll have to spend the first week or so with the guy he save, but if it meant that the end of the grooming portion meant that he would be able to have the date with Ms. Hina, then it was all worth it.
