February 14, 2017
Dear Diary,
Today, 365 days have passed. 365 days I've been a prisoner in this mansion since I made it disappear. 365 days I've been in hell. What have I been thinking? I thought that things would finally be better, that I would finally see the light if he was gone - but I was more delusional than real. Because very soon, everything got worse. How did it get worse? I don't know. But what I know for sure is that it's not gone. He's still there. He's watching me. And this time, I have no way to escape him. He is far too strong, far too unpredictable. He comes back when I think he's decided to give me a break.
These moments of silence and tranquility are only fleeting - like now. While writing this, I'm hiding in my room, where you know. It's the only place where he can't reach me. He doesn't know I'm hiding here. He knows that I will eventually show up. But it's no use to him. I haven't slept through the night for three months. I can't take it anymore. I'm exhausted from all this. What is he waiting for? That I take my life? I often thought about it. But that would be letting him win. I don't want to give him that pleasure. I still have a lot to discover. I want to live.
So how do I end it? Trust me. After nights of sleeplessness and thinking, I now know what to do. And I have no other choice. All I can hope is that one day, someone will find you, Diary - I will get you to safety. For my fate will depend solely on that person taking you into their hands.
Well...in the hope, everything turns out the way I want it to.
