Amelia likes reading.
Its not often she gets to do it, but on slow rainy days, she would put on a comfy pastel colored sweater and with a cup of tea, sit under the light of a tall lampshade on her office and read.
Fiction has to be her favorite. The endless worlds and tales that hail from magical lands was always entertaining even if she experienced such things first hand due to her friends and job.
Sometimes, romance would be the current topic she was interested in and she would think on possible dates with her immortals.
She avoided mistery like the plague, enough detective brain activity, this was a time for rest.
Horror wasn't something she read often but from time to time it was fun.
This time she was reading one of them. It was a mix of horror with fiction. The book was interesting and kept her on her toes sometimes, nothing much for her.
However, if there's one thing ame doesn't do is scribbling something on them.
On her detective work she made notes, marked things, cut them to slap on the board as an open thread, but not on her past time, she liked keeping them clean.
This book was new. She bought it about a month ago, it was in pristine condition, sealed in plastic. But as she read it she started noticing little markings.
Tiny specles on the sides of pages. At first she thought it was just some smear from printing. Until they got bigger and this night, she read them.
